We bought a modern-looking colorful inlaid wood lazy susan that is a work of art. I keep it in the center of the dining table and serve on it and receive constant compliments! They are not inexpensive, but very special and worth the splurge. Packing and shipping was perfect.

This is an amazing shop which is an experience to walk round. Inlaid wood being a speciality of Sorrento there is no surprise that it contains a vast collection of inlaid wood boxes, tables, furniture, chess sets etc. The section with embroidery including place mats, table cloths, napkins etc. is beautiful to see. There are hundreds of ceramics. In this... More

We visited Gargiulo & Jannuzzi on a tour several times. Every time we went back we have bought something. On our last visit we purchased serving boards. Unfortunately the boards had a small defect. We contacted the artist and he stood behind the product 100%. They replaced our boards free of charge and we have been happy with the new... More

Located on the s.e. corner of Piazza Tasso ( on Viale E. Caruso ), this large "department store" is a good one-stop place for Sorrento fine arts. Mainly inlaid wood items & furniture, ceramics & pottery, jewellery and embroidered linens & lace. Very beautiful pieces, but for some wood items I would recommend checking out the factory store a few... More

We were struck by the wonderful intarsia work (a form of wood inlaying that is similar to marquetry) in this shop and ended up buying a set of 6 beautiful tables, each triangular in design that can be used individually or put together in clever ways. The design is extremely intricate and has wonderful patterns in green and gold. Each... More

Our driver had suggested we visit this tourist trap. We had not planned a trip to Sorrento but because my wife likes woodwork we stopped at his suggestion. We are US Citizens and should not be paying the VAT when shipping. They did not provide any forms and charged us the full amount which includes the VAT in the list... More

The sales staff was wonderful and the ceramics were first class. Much nicer than the items you see in the small shops walking around. They had beautiful linens also...along with many items made from wood! Would go back again in a heart beat.

We were sauntering through this wonderful shop admiring the inlaid wood, the pottery, the linens and the glass. Since my husband was born in Sicily he began to speak to the owner. Mentioning the inlaid furniture we were guided to the "attic" to see pieces not on the floor. BEHOLD, there was the console we had been looking for .... More
