The mill is situated just off Tasso Square about 300 yards where the taxi rank is. It is not well signed and is quite a lovely sight deep in a ravine about two hundred feet below street level. It is not possible to get down to visit it but it looks great from above. More

I was surprized to see reviews in Tripadvisor of this valley. I saw it for the first time during a visit to Sorrento in May 2012 and it is certainly a geological curiosity. It is a very steep-sided, narrow gorge, that debouches onto the beach, where there is no visible stream in the bottom because it has been built over... More

Really neat surprise in the middle of town. It will take your breath away. East side of the Square with guard rails around it. It is a lush little hideaway. So unexpected. You can't go down to see it but it makes for nice pictures. More

This is the remains of an old mill that was abandoned years ago. Takes about 5 minutes to see. It sits in a deep valley only because they paved over the river that still runs under the road. It was recently purchased by some group who intends to turn it into a hotel or some such thing. More

Saw this on line before visiting Sorrento, not many people around us there had heard of it and we directed a few others for a photo there! Scary drop and pretty amazing in the middle of the town. More

A small walk from the Piazza Tasso you will see this beautiful landscape. Its great for pictures as previously mentioned and its just another great addition to Sorrento. It would be great to get down there but maybe that could be a possibly venture in the future. More

Just near Piazza Tasso, you walk along and unsuspectingly gaze down on this little mill and valley. Very beautiful and comes up a treat in pictures. You can't get down to it that I could see and it is only a fairly brief experience but very nice beacuse it is unexpected. Part of the charm of walking around Sorrento More
