After several years of searching all over Italy for Mandarinocello we finally found some here and it was as good as we remembered it. We stopped in to the shop after wandering through the lemon grove and asked if they had any on hand. We were told that they would have to bring it from the factory. We requested that... More

Right in the middle of the city is this lovely lemon grove. Our tour had a wonderful talk on how limoncello is made and then many samples of various flavors. We much appreciated the drink when served several times later on our trip having met the farmer who grows the lemons.

Enjoyed a small dish of lemon gelato at the store. The gates to the lemon grove were closed - so we did not inquire about a tour. The lemon gelato was the best that we have had so far on our 4.5 weeks in Italy!

Having been given Limoncello at many restaurants, hopefully for our good behavior, we went here to learn more, and taste a little, too! Upon reaching the center, we found a delightful young woman who was smiling AND spoke English. We learned about the history of this local liquid, tasted a little, bought some to take home at reasonable prices, and... More

Real treat! Our hotel, Grand Hotel de la Ville, was a stone throw away from this lovely store, so we stopped by on the way back from our 'hike of the century', Sentiero degli Dei. We were pretty tired and it was a hot day, so it was really good to try ice cold limoncello samples. We were lucky: the... More

Upon entering the Garden of Cataldo you will be greeted by the sweet aroma of fresh growing lemons. The lemons grown in this garden are used to make the lemon cello that Sorrento is famous for. You can also sample the lemoncello that is made at the factory as well as tour the factory itself. To see more reviews you... More

We very much enjoyed our 4 nights stay at your Garden House Sorrento which is located in the lemon grove of "I Giardini di Cataldo". We were overwhelmed by the friendliness and cordiality of our hosts Rossella, her Dad Salvatore and her Nonna. You were all so very friendly and welcomed us with coffee and wonderful home-made gelato. And of... More

I read in some of the other reviews, before writing this one, that there was a guided tour and the ability to see the manufacturing process of the limoncello. That sounds amazing and I wish we would have done that! However, perhaps user error, but we didn't see any signs or anything letting tourists know that there is a tour... More

The grove was quite small and I was expecting there to be more to see and do. Yes there was a small stall offering free limoncello - which did taste amazing, possibly the best I had in sorrento! However, after sitting down with our limoncello it only took 5-10 minutes to walk around the whole place. I thought there may... More
