This beautiful oasis in the middle of Sorrento was a must do part of our daily walks around the city. We could enter on the Via Correale side, dally along the pathway and finally exit over on Corso Italia. In the middle is a little stand with the nicest people working there. They offer you a taste of their limoncello... More

If you appreciate Limoncello you can not miss visiting I Giardini di Cataldo in Sorrento. Although we have tried other brands which are available in Portugal, we think none is as good as this one. We have ordered Limoncello by mail twice and everything was perfect. The shop and the orchard are very nice.

Perhaps it was late in the season (we visited in early September), but we found the gardens a bit run down. The main feature was a small stand in the heart of the garden where we sampled delicious homemade liqueurs made from the garden's lemons and mandarins. It's worth the stroll through just for the tasting.

It's not often there is a free attraction in Sorrento. This was a brilliant thing to do. We walked off the main road, had a wander down past all the lemon and orange trees and were rewarded with a taste of limoncello! Which was delightful. We bought a gift pack for 12 euros which had 4 small bottles (limoncello, orange,... More

Lovely little garden, but rain spoiled it for us. I think April is probably the best time for the lemon grove. Very nice lady on the counter though. Liked the limoncello.

We visited this lemon grove on the recommendation of many others on TripAdvisor. I must say, we were fairly unimpressed. Yes, it is free, yes, there is shade, yes, there is limoncello tasting at the end. Other than that, there's not much to it. You walk through a lemon grove, I'd estimate to be at 2-3 acres in size (their... More

We came across this lemon grove, with a small shop at the end. The Limoncello is excellent - organic and made by them. We also bought a really unusual licorice liqueur which tastes exactly like drinking pure licorice. Delicious.

It has been a little over a month since our wedding in the Cataldo Gardens, and we are still dreaming of what a beautiful and most perfect day it was. After visiting over 4 years ago, and stumbling upon this quiet paradise in the center of Sorrento, we knew it had to be a place we'd come back to. After... More

It's worth finding the garden for a quiet relax in the shade and to give your nose & tongue a treat as well as your eyes. The free sample of limoncello put me in the mood for a full serving. At this point they seemed to miss a trick, only selling it by the bottle not the glass for consumption... More

Found this on the last morning of our trip. Beautiful orchard of lemon and orange trees. Go there to sit and read, or paint, or just relax. When we were there in the morning there was a 'bar' serving cold drinks and giving tasters of the products from the orchard - limoncello, and sister products made from oranges and licquorice....
