We were as surprised as anyone to learn that you have to pay to get into most of the "beaches" along the coast (especially coming from Australia) but when you get an experience as enjoyable as this, it is definitely worth it. We paid for two sun lounges and an umbrella and spent an entire day down there (the walk... More

Had a great day here and had a light lunch as well, a little sun on the bones and a gentle swim in the sea.

Lovely beach/ bathing area in Sorrento. Yes it's a bit pricey, 11 euros per person when we there in September, but we bartered the ticket price down to 8 euros as it was midday when we went in and we had lost half a day. Wonderful place to take in the views of Sorrento/Ischia and an absolute sun trap. Lovely... More

This beach is really a solarium with small beach attached. The best option is to hire loungers and an umbrella out on the sundrenched jetty, with direct access to the enclosed ocean. The water is very clean and warm and there is an entrance to the Mediterranean if you prefer swimming further out. Also a good restaurant with fresh local... More

When you enter a person comes up to you, you hand them your ticket and they walk you around until you find a spot you like. They open the chairs, put up the umbrella. The water is very nice, my kids had a blast. We rented a paddle boat and cruised around. We had the deli pack us a picnic... More

Busy, local beach side restaurant. Happy mix of self service for casual dining and serviced tables for more formal lunchtime dining. Quick and efficient service with great food and as is traditional, somewhat large portions! Clams and salt and pepper prawns were hot and tasty and the salad of tomatoes fresh and delicious. Good, authentic food and atmosphere.

29 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. Quieter than the free beach but not sure it is worth that amount. Spend a whole day there if you go or it isn't worth it.

this lido below the hotel continental was very tightly packed with beds & brollies without any space between them but after initial doubts we enjoyed the day sun bathing & swimming into the safe enclosed sea

A tad expensive, but all of the man made "beaches" are along the coast. However they are very clean, and you can literally spend all day there if you wish to. Excellent changing facilities, and great loungers. My husband loved diving off the rocks whilst i kicked back and relaxed! If you get a sun lounger furthest away you get... More
