Boring little town. stayed in Easter 2012 the only good thing was the view. The apartment was the worst I have been in for that money value. The town offers nothing except a beach that already seemed dirty in aprile I imagine in summer . The buildings around seem like a recent war has ended and thay still haven't fixed...

I enjoy the small town feel of Meta. The people are friendly and they town is too...Check it out for yourself...and the beach is truly lovely!!

If you are staying in Sorrento and want to have a swim and lovely day out. Head up to Meta, we had a hire car but I think there is a bus that goes there. I saw one saying Meta, Alimuri this is the one you need to get. Once you hit Meta there is a left turn to go...

Whilst only 4km away, Meta is quieter and far less touristy than Sorrento, with a few shops, bars and restaurants and a reasonable beach in a sheltered cove, though down a LOT of steps!
