Went on a Thomson's excursion from Sorrento, which included a lunch, they could not have chosen a cheaper lunch fo us if they tried, we would have prefered more time in Amalfi and chosen where and what to eat. Another Thomson Trick is to get you to Alalfi and state that the boat trip is an extra cost. The boat trip... More

We stopped in Positano for an hour, beautiful shops and cafés. Amalfi is fantastic, St Andrews Cathedral is breathtaking. Due to weather we didn't go on the boat trip, we didn't mind as we had done this previously. On to Ravello where we did some more shopping in the lovely shops. Our guide Roberto was excellent

A beautiful and one of the most romantic drives. We stayed in Praiano and drove this stretch multiple times to visit different beautiful locations - Amalfi, Minora Minori, Ravelo, Postitano etc .. We had a convertible which made all the more difference!!! this is one of our most unforgettable trips. Just a word of caution - be careful as the... More

These are just a few of the words that I would use to describe taking the ride along the Amalfi Drive. I have driven it many times before and it still remains one of my favourites in the entire world. The scenery is breathtaking and you have to be really adventurous driver to undertake this route especially in the summer.... More

As if the beauty of the Amalfi Coast wasn't enough on day 2 of our 4 day visit we had the pleasure or privilege to have an up close tour of the area with Biagio Santoro. Biagio not only took us to see the spectacular views from Positano to Ravello but we met the real people who live and work... More

We were staying in Naples and booked a day trip to Pompeii and the famous Amalfi drive. We booked this with "Sorrentocars" owned by Ugo after doing a bit of comparison and research online. The rate offered was the lowest and we had a great experience. Our family of three was picked up from our hotel at 9Am by Roberto... More

Crazy traffic on very winding narrow roads with big buses in both directions and Italian drivers thinking its a formula 1 track. If you are a passenger and truly trust the driver, then the views are fantastic and the little villages on the cliffs are beautiful, but if you are the driver then its all eyes glued to the road... Take the local bus from the central station in Salerno (2 euros 40 each way ) - buy your tickets before getting on the bus. Join the locals as they travel along the coast road, clinging to the mountain sides and looking down on beautiful bays and lemon trees. Make sure you board quickly as it is standing room only... Started at 9:00am and Raffaele was waiting for us in front of our hotel. We ( family of 4) a terrific day with Raffaele going through Positano, Almalfi and Ravello. He provided highlights, history, stories and was great company. He made plenty of stops for pictures and allowed the right amount of time in each town for us to explore.... More
