After being talked into taking part in this excursion by my gf, because I'm not that good with heights, I was totally blown away and glad that I gave in to her. The drive was given by a very experienced driver called pepe. He drove nice and steady along the narrow cliff edge Road. Astounded by the views as we... More

A simply stunning drive if you are able to enjoy it by not driving yourself. How the large coaches traverse this route is amazing and the guys that do this regularly are extremely skilled Italian drivers. We stayed at Sorrento and took a coach to Ravello and returned via a ferry along the coast. This offers the best of both... More

The most amazing and breathtaking views you will see anywhere. The romance and wonder and beauty is just something to see at every corner and every turn. My camera was worn out by the time I came home! Its a dream for selfie takers and photographers alike. Drive a small car and the bends are hairpin and the buses drive... More

The tour was lovely with stunning scenery. Ravello was well worth a visit and if you go into the gardens, you can stand on the world famous opera stage which is perched on the side of the cliff. We did get stuck in traffic on the return journey.

Just came back from Venice, Abruzzo, Amalfi, Rome. The worst experience was driving along the Amalfi coast, everywhere else was easy. Buses come flying around a hairpin curve doing 80 km in your lane, lucky I was able to react or we would have gone over the cliff. Streets so narrow they barely accommodate 2 small cars, not 2 buses... More

What a road this is, perched on the cliff face that winds its way up and down and round from Sorrento to Positano. You feel as though you are going to slip off the edge at any point. If you have a fear of heights, either don;t go (!!) or sit away from windows! The views and scenery are stunning.

Always spoken of in superlatives - and rightly so. This is one of the most scenic drives in the world. We took a local bus from Sorrento station and sat on the right hand side. In places one cannot see the road, only the sheer drop into the sea. Absolutely breathtaking scenery: small villages, little vineyards, lemon orchards, hotels all... More

The most amazing vistas and viewpoints I have ever seen!!! Thank god someone else did the driving, because the road is is an engineering feet in itself... If you visit Italy this is a MUST!!!

I've always wanted to drive along the Amalfi coast, and it was as beautiful as the pictures I had seen. An advantage for me, however, was that I was not the driver of the car! He found the drive rather strenuous because of the constant traffic, but he also enjoyed the view. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to stop in any... More

There are several ways to do this trip. We finally plumped for the red sightseeing bus. Although there was an open top double decker bus in Sorrento (as you in many cities around the world) they also run a single decker air conditioned coach between Sorrento and Amalfi with a stop at Positano on the way. In addition you get... More
