Beautiful cathedral, while we were there a society wedding took place and there was a feast of a Saint.

If you're young and "hip" the locals will tell you to stick to Benimaclet and Ruzafa, as a visitor I really enjoy this area. If you're new in town, this area is best for meeting people. From Calle Caballeros there's some cool bars and cafes on the off-streets. Radio City is good for local bands, this Barrio (neighbourhood) is buzzy... More

We stayed within walking distance of the Barrio del Carmen or Carme. Some great old buildings. lots of restaurants. Did not like all the graffiti everywhere.

This part of the city is exceptional for it's nightlife. Restaurants and bars are all over and people wander from one to another during the (late) evening having tapas or drinks. A great atmosphere and loads of people out to enjoy themselves. Nightclubs go on until late. You will want to check on individual sites as this can depend on... More

Walk the winding streets through old houses and shops to get a good feel for old Valencia. The is a great deal of graffiti which is a pity but that disappears when the roller shutter and rolled up. Check the guide books as there are some interesting restaurantsin the area.

If you want to see the old Valencia this is the place to go. It lies with the walls of the old Valencia city enclosed by the Torres de Serrano. It's got losts of alternative shops and restaurants and night clubs. Some roads are still made of stone and you can imagine the bygone years when horses and charts where... More

So nice strolling around in this neighborhood. Close to the Turia Gardens and lots of cozy cafes. Beautiful old part of town and seems very local and not too turisty.

I loved the tiny little streets full of popular restaurants and tapas bars which offer reasonable daily menu so that you can try all the traditional food as you take a stroll down all these streets.
