Buzzing centre of commerce, with virtually every foodstuff on sale here. Wonderful breads, pastries, meat, fish, herbs and spices. With a few stalls with snacks, tapas and drinks to keep you revived whilst walking around.

Picture perfect fresh produce stalls, fish of every description, spices, cheese, jamon and very good value. There are places to eat and you can even buy some of the produce and then get it cooked for you at one of the cafes near the front entrance. Great experience

Lovely place with great quality. Rather fair prices and here you will find all the Spanish specialities you need. Even my kids were excited about it. A must in Valencia!

Designed in the moderniste style by Francisco Guardia in 1914, this enormous market of nearly 10,000sq. ft., epitomizes the vibrancy of this great city. There are hundreds of stalls selling fish, shellfish, a huge variety of vegetables and every kind of meat. The smell, the color and the noise is quite spectacular. Outside there are cafes and stalls including one... More

The architecture and energy alone make this a great ace to visit. We didn't really eat there but really enjoyed our quick walk through. The surrounding stores and shops are also interesting.

We were there in prime-time, around noon on a Saturday and it was very busy and filled with people. Stalls of almost everything you could imagine were there. Saw parts of several animals for the first time, like the sheep heads. Really wished we had a place to prepare some of the beautiful produce! We bought great bread, cheese, fruit... More

Stall after stall of great looking produce. Fish meat, vegetables, cheeses etc. Busy, bustling market where people come to do their shopping to get the freshest produce and there were lots of small cafes, places to eat both within and outside the market. The antithesis of a supermarket. The veg for example werent uniformly standard but were naturally mishaped but... More

Buy a Paella here, not only the food but the special paella pan to cook it and of course visit the Market. Have a walk around the place visiting the small streets and squares surrounding the place.
