Do not mis the mercat when in valencia

Wonderfull, impressive. All the local flavours and specialties, together in a stunning art deco building. Do not mis this, my favourite valencia spot.

We had a stroll around the market and sampled some of the excellent local products. We had lunch at the Central Bar and really enjoyed it, the girls behind the bar were very friendly and helpful, food and drinks were amazing! there was a bit of a line but it went quite quickly, definitely worth the waiting!

Whatever else you do while in Valencia, don't miss out on visiting this market. Open Monday to Saturday until 2pm. Fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses and fish of every kind plus much more. And when you have finished you can grab a glass of wine and a plate or two of tapas in one of the bars outside.

Most vendors sell food items, although souvenir shops and restaurants are located inside the market as well. It is a popular location for tourists and locals alike. A must visit for foodies or a great wander through the... More

Compared to the market in Barcelona it is not a big deal. It is always nice to look at all this food and it's handy to buy some cheap food. It definitely is worth the trip, but the outside is probably most beautiful. Go before 14:00, or everyone will be cleaning up. Around the building there are often people selling... More
