We booked the show that we want to watch a day ahead. The next day when we went there, the girl there said we were an hour late, but she let us in anyways. That was very nice of her. The L'Hemisferic is between Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia and The Museum of Sciences Principe. This IMAX theatre is... More

We had a ticket as part of a combined one to all three attractions in this complex. We saw the planetarium show about the thousand suns. It was very detailed and interesting, plus an experience seeing it in the imax format. This is meant to be one of the largest screens in Europe, and it is inside a really space... More

It's not only an IMAX or 3D Cine, it's an espetacular cinema with very interesting and educational movies. I never thought in watching a movie talking about the universe with lots of details in a fantastic screen. I love it!

You can watch an IMAX film here (just a short 40mins) if you really have nothing much else to do, and this was the case for the wife and I after we visited the Oceanografic. It was a decent experience (no complaints about dirty/smelly headsets or seats), but 8 euros is still quite a lot for just 40mins. I suppose... More

The tickets are 8 euro for admission. You are given a multilingual headset, mine was sticky and had a bad odor, and sit down in the dome theater. The smell of chlorine was strong and the air was very humid, the combination of the two made me feel queazy. The film we saw was interesting but only ran about 40... More

Located next to the city of sciences and arts, I was very disappointed by this attraction. I thought the staff was rude and it is very expensive for a 40mns movie in a curve wall with a strange contraption on your head. The 3D movies at my local cinema are more impressive Will not go back there

We went to see the "Hidden Universe" film at the end of our Valencia holiday. Projecting the film on the inside of a curved building is certainly an experience that makes you feel part of the action, but the film definitely wasn't in High Definition - it looked kind of grainy and you could see the joins in the ceiling... My expectations were low due to the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor - however it was fantastic! The costs are about 8.80 euros for around a 30-40 minute film. We watched a 2-D film and this was projected on a large scale across the hemispheric walls. The quality of the projection was fantastic and we got to see many of the... More

we saw the reef film at the Hemispheric but the picture was uncleared, the music too high and we couldn't hear our headphones. The pictures were nice and the message of the film sincere but we have seen better Imax films elsewhere and not so expensive as the ticket to the Hemispheric includes only one film.
