I was not trill about the subject of the movie, but i love the way it was projected. All the room is a spheric, you sit back, and the projection is on the half of sphere. The effect is amazing, because it is difficult to see where it end, and it gives you a 3d felling.

My 8 year old daughter and I were staying in the old city and caught the No 95 bus down to the City of Arts and Sciences including the Hemisferic. We used our combined VLC card which meant we had unlimited use of public transport and had bought the ticket which gave us access to this site, the Oceanografic and... More

Went yesterday with the kids and I must say the building is amazing. The imax is hosted in the central dome, and although you can see the wall through the projection it still works as a cinema. We went with the film recommended to us at the box office a film about turtles, and it was pretty bad, showy 3d.... More

We enjoyed the movie and the effects were good. My kids had never seen 3d so loved it. However, it only took up a small portion of the huge screen (I've seen ones take up the whole screen so we had told them this would happen). Also, they have these stupid headsets that don't block out any of the really... More

Very comfortable seating and temperature. Saw the Mariposa show and really enjoyed it. My headphones did not function properly so shared with my husband.

Started my tour of the City of Arts & Sciences with a film of the universe at the Hemisferic. It was enjoyable however wouldn't necessarily recommend diverting from seeing some of the other beautiful sights of Valencia for this indoor movie experience. Worthwhile if you've never been to a full whole of ceiling IMAX movie.

It feels good to go to the biggest theater in spain but the movie wasnt so special. I went today and watched the movie about space and actually fell asleep several times in the middle of it. It is good that they had English but it is not that interesting.

We booked the show that we want to watch a day ahead. The next day when we went there, the girl there said we were an hour late, but she let us in anyways. That was very nice of her. The L'Hemisferic is between Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia and The Museum of Sciences Principe. This IMAX theatre is... More

We had a ticket as part of a combined one to all three attractions in this complex. We saw the planetarium show about the thousand suns. It was very detailed and interesting, plus an experience seeing it in the imax format. This is meant to be one of the largest screens in Europe, and it is inside a really space... More
