i was welcome by a cat who lead me around part of the garden: you can imagine that that made the whole experience even better! :) if you like a hidden garden that's half orderly and half natural, callas and welcoming stray cats, you'll love this! :)

I love this hidden garden in Valencia. Actually, not a lot of people have heard about it. Each time I go to Valencia I always go back to Jardines de Monforte. Actually you may pass by the entrance but will think it's a private entry of a mansion. Just enter and discover this hidden and beautiful neoclassical garden ! roses,... More

Close to the Jardines del Turia amd the museo de ciensas naturales. Hidden entrance on the calle Monforte takes you into a beautiful and romantic park with statues and fountains. Quiet oasis in the middle of the city. Great place to relax after visiting beautiful Valencia.

Very quiet garden, very beautiful. There's a few ponds and fountains with fish in, weather was fantastic, nice place to just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet

We didn't visit this little treasure at the best time of year (Mid March) but thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There is plenty of evidence that when all is in bloom in Summer it will be a real treat.

We walked from the Botanic Gardens through the course of the diverted river to the Jardines de Monforte and found an oasis of calm not far from the main artery road through the city and thought them much nicer if smaller in scale.

The garden layout is absolutely stunning, the amount of variety and views presented in such a relatively small space is breathtaking. Very much of the italianate form the footpaths wind through the garden showcasing the avenues of yew bushes surrounding formal rose gardens, avenues of trees providing surprise views of beautiful statues. The number of statues within the garden are... More

The Jardines de Monforte is a beautiful garden that is quite peaceful. My wife and I love gardens and we enjoyed seeing these gardens, which were very neat.

What a beautiful and special oasis. Tucked between modern apartment blocks this is a surprising retreat. We were lucky to be the only visitors so had the whole garden to ourselves. Very well maintained, some awesome views down trellised walkways of bougainvilleas, across manicured hedges and classical statues, and onto ponds and small gardens. There's a ruin folly to climb...
