This station is a beautiful example of art deco, with its decorations of oranges and grapes and inside the wall paintings of landscapes you travelled to, when you were waiting for the train in your first or royal class. Go there to enjoy the way your ancesters travelled and to experience the modern way of trainfaring from here.

We loved this station. It looks great from the outside, with some lovely Art Deco/Modernist touches, but the inside is better. There is a small room off to the right hand side that they've set aside so that you can appreciate the decor in all its original glory. The tiling and decoration are superb and worth taking many photos. The... More

I see this station everyday and I never tire from seeing it. A must see for all architectural enthusiasts. Also, inside there is a room with a tall mosaic ceiling, containing beautiful pictures of the Valencian area, Falleras, orange pickers.

Pop in when you are walking by. Small station but shows the grand nature of train travel in the day when the station was built.

Really cool Art Deco building outside and even better on the inside...written all around is Bon Voyage in many different languages, something you wouldn't really notice unless someone points it out...lovely colored tiles.

The north station is an old station like you imagine in your dreams. When you visit a country it is always nice to travel wth a train, on a bike or a boat. Instead of travelling only by ( your own) car. You will see the city, region through an other view.

.. what a railway station should be like- grand and decorative with illusions of splendour. Easy to access and find info.

Beautiful architecture and great place to take the kids to watch the trains. There are coffee shops, bookstore, pharmacy and gift store.

Even if you do not come with the train, this art nouveau building is a must see landmark. The original wooden ticket boxes are also preserved, decorated ceilings, and even the fence around the station is art nouveau.
