We were staying close to the North Station ( Estacion del Norde) so we walked around a few times. The foyer and ticket area are impressive, the platforms are a bit grittier but it was tidy and not intimidating. It's easy to stroll around and watch the comings and goings. Another great place for photography.

It serves as an usual main railroad station where you can spend your waiting time visiting a small exhibition room decorated with mosaic, it might gave some stands but most of the time there are no exposition which makes it comfortable to take good pictures of mosaic. The building itself is creamy white decorated in gothic style and it is... More

Even if you don't intend to take a train journey the station is well worth a visit. The booking hall has beautiful artwork and although I have been there many times over the years I still marvel at it every time.

A beautifully proportioned building serving as the train station. Take time to examine not only the façade but also the sides of the structure which are less busy but still impressive.

You don't find many stations like this one. Decorated with valencia oranges and other items of the area it is quite a sight to look at. Do go inside to find an old fashioned style booking hall with original features and through to the platform area to see a classic arched roof railway station. The building has been well maintained... The exterior and interior artwork and condition of this Station is amazing. Well worth seeing. We were lucky enough to arrive by train and although it was mentioned as being one of the things to see in Valencia we were amazed at this piece of Valencian history.

This train station has one of the prettiest lobby and ticketing areas of most European stations. The tilework, lighting, windows, ticket area, ceilings, and more are worth the effort to see. Just walk in and enjoy for a few minutes. Nice to see that old architectural design is well taken care of today and is greatly appreciated

Stunning building with beautiful art nouveau tiles. Look out for the tiled greetings on the walls in different languages. Worth a visit even if you do not have a train to catch.

It is located near the Plaza del Ayunatamiento, beside Bull Ring. It`s buit 1906-1917 in Modernisme style. If you come with train in Valencia or go somewhere-it is perfect location-right in the historical centre of Valencia. The beautiful irowork roof over the platforms, ornamentation rich in folk.beautifully styled and with a lot of taste and knowledge of proportion....make an a... More
