Beautiful, colourful building and clear signage. There are some cafes and shops to occupy your time while waiting for your train, as well as a free shuttle bus to the Estacio Joaquin Sorolla, in case you ended up here by accident. It's worth popping in briefly, even if you aren't catching a train, just to see the building. If you... More

The outside of this station certainly has a wow factor, which is carried on in the interior. The stained glass, tiles, and wooden carvings in the booking hall and the main part are of special artistic character. The main station is really hot in summer with a glass roof, but well worth a look and a few photos.

Stunning building for a station. Beautifully decorated with large 'tiled' pictures and plenty of oranges! Go into what was probably the old waiting room (inside the main building and room on the right) to see wonderful examples of these. Don't just arrive by train and rush out of the station - take some time to appreciate this wonderful building!

What can I say? But another piece of beautiful outstanding Valencian architecture! From the marble floors to the mosaic ceilings, and an exceptional Vitoria wall clock set on a mosaic wall! The entrance is also exceptional as it has wonderful lead stained glass windows!

When we arrived on the station, around 5 AM, we was surprised to see that was closed during the night, between 12 and 6 AM :). The old railway station of the city, yet functional and with an arhitecture of the yearly 20th century. Inside are several old cercvecerias which open at 6 AM, I think is the first of... More

Beautiful and efficient station. Tip: there is a free shuttle bus to Valencia Joaquin Sorolla station. Just follow the signs in North Station and then jump on the bus. Ride is only 1-2 minutes, but it's a heck of a lot easier than the 10-12 minute walk if you have lots of luggage (as we did).

From the outside it doesn't look like a train station. Looks more like a museum. Information desk was very helpful and the little shops inside are not too expensive.

Small, interesting architecture. Quite efficient. Free toilets down one side of the station. Lots of restaurants just outside opposite bull ring which is next door - worth a visit.
