Free entry and a magical place. The architecture was unbelievable. Very busy in the evening as it is in the square which also houses the cathedral and many bars and restaurants and a great meeting place for families to get together to be seen. Wonderful fountain outside with a story to tell. Please ask to relate the story

The church is really lovely and contains a nationally revered statue of the Virgin Mary for special intervention. The statue is VERY extravagant and moving. This is the official Church of Valencia. The interior is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a very nice Basilica. Though the entry fee is free, I guess most people would pay a small amount to walk into this magnificent building. The outside is not very impressive, but the inside is absolutly stunning! The building is richly decorated with gold and paintings and the ceiling is absolutly gorgeous.

Wonderful interior. Decorative work is spectacular some might say over the top. The place was packed when we were there as I think there was some sort of service about to be held.

Another breath taking place that is a must when visiting Valencia. It is quiet and cool inside with the most elaborate art work. This is next to the cathedral so no excuse it has to be seen.

A very beautiful church, one of the most important religious buildings for Valencian people. Next to the Gothic Cathedral gate and opposite the gorgeous Palau de la Generalitat, an emblematic place for us, many Valencians since it is a symbol of our National Identity as we are not Castilians.

Facts and information. Beautiful and historical. We found out about the March festival too! We hope to coincide our return to Valencia with St Patricks day!

The museum is quite small situated at the back of the basilica. One would almost miss it because the entrance is on a small side street. The collection is devoted to the lady of the helpless - there are sculptures, paintings and other objects from the 14th century and later. I think if you are not or never was Catholic,... More

The art was amazing! Didn't get to stay very long, wish I could've. Located in a beautiful part of town with a lot of history.
