Ceiling as you enter is really impressive. Would suggest taking a look if you're visiting Valencia. Doesn't take much of your time to take a look around

We made several trips to this church and witnessed multiple weddings, not to mention one in the chapel that houses the Holy Grail. Very impressive architecture.

Quiet place to reflect - beautiful paintings on ceiling - well worth a visit - see archaeological site through water next to Basilica

You may not agree with architectural or aesthetic values of chapel's exterior and interior. But it is authentic, it need very short time, and is free. Therefore must see - you anyway once will be some dozen steps from its door while exploring Valencia. The statue of Virgin Mary, often depicted outdoor (during festival) is normally located behind altar -... More

Wonderfully over the top statue of the virgin and an exquisite painted dome ceiling (also pretty extravagant) which is breathtaking. Clearly a very special place for worshippers so respect this. The following day thousands of people were queueing all day to visit on the holy day.

The profoundly spiritual 16th century music of Alonso Lobo, Tomas Luis de la Victoria and Francisco Guerrero seems light years away from the gaudy, barrow-boy kitsch which came to decorate Spanish and Latin American churches about a century later. I love the music but certainly not the glitter. La Basilica, built next to Valencia's Catedral Catolica, suffers from this blight... More

A beautiful altar. This formed the back drop for the concert the night before. The church was I use for a formal service of prayer and communion so I did not tarry long.

Right next to the cathedral this is a totally different place with its elaborate ceiling and small elaborately decorated area. Outside the architecture is interesting with a large mural carpet decorating the front of the church. Well worth a visit

It's such a cool place to just say a prayer in even if you practice no faith. It is the Vatican of Valencia I'd say. There seems to be a mass going on every other hour. A nice place to do a wedding. Keep that in mind.
