Turia is a very pleasant place to go walking, cycling, running, chilling... There are places for kids to play as well, and a couple of cafes.

It's just your average park with some sculptures. The end of the Bioparc I thought was much nicer. It had a lake where you could ride swan boats and a lil cafe. I didn't like how it turned into the arts and science area at the other end.. It was quite ugly

The river was reclaimed after severe flooding. It now features bike, walking and running paths, or places to sit and soak up the sun, speak with the locals for whom this is very popular spot

Valencia has incredible buildings, architecture and bridges but its urban green areas are its crowning glory. Walk the cauce from the old city to the ciudad de arte and you will be invigorated and will be able to get a feeling of the true Valencia.

Great park both for families, young people or couples. The park runs from a part of the city to the other. There are places for kids to play but also for young people like a stadium.

This park has a little bit for just about everyone, from walking/running/cycling tracks to the City of Arts and Sciences. It follows the old course of the river through the city and has been partially planted as a riverside forest. At 11km long it takes some exploring. We were there in December but I can see that the trees would... More

What they have done with this old over bed is excellent. They have created a fabulous space within the city, where you can enjoy a peaceful moment, look at art, take the kids, find nature, watch people.... Lets just hope the river doesn't run wild after a long rainfall...
