It is a nice place for giving a walk and see modern buildings. You can mame the tour by bike and it's near the old and the new city.

The 'Antiguo Cause del Rio Turia' is a beautiful linear park following the former course of the River Turia, which was diverted to the outskirts of Valencia following regular flooding of the city. The people of Valencia are fortunate to have this delightful park and urban forest, which runs for over four miles. It's quite an oasis to escape to... More

This is the biggest urban park in Valencia. It stretches about 10 kilometers long. It was the old river bed. After a flood in 1957, the city diverted the River Tunia and turned the river bed into a park, benefitting the residents and tourists alike. Good city planning. In May we stayed at a hotel just a 5 minute walk... More

So Valencia got flooded in the 1950's so they decided to divert the river away from the city and created a park in the remaining riverbed (approx 200m wide). Walked from Turia metro to City of Arts & Sciences (75 mins stroll - it was 36c!) Saw dog walkers, cyclicts, joggers, skateboarders, baseball & football fields etc. Plenty of shady... More

This fantastic urban park crosses the city. It's wonderful to walk along and across it discovering the city and breathing inside the nature.

This park in the former riverbed deserves a day (or two half-days) on its own. Many attractions, interesting modern monumants and sculptures with small places to get beer&chips if you're thirsty) Beautiful trees (oh, those bottle trees! amazing!), many facilities for sport-loving people. Many locals using park, walking their dogs and enjoying life. The most rewarding way to get to... More

A fantastic place - a long 9km of park that meanders through the city on a former river bed. The different sections of the park are inspired and varied, between art, sport, leisure or relaxation. A bike is fully recommended - allowing you to cover the whole length in a few hours. A camera is also a must - you'll... More

A different place to sit picnic each day. Valencia has so many great gardens, real, monte?? Etc but Turia is so much more. Already looking forward to seeing my old friend again

I you have a free afternoon-evening, think about spending a day in the park. There you can do almost every sport activity, from running to gym exercises thanks to the structure inside the park.
