I walked the whole length of the 'river', enjoying the sun, little places on the way,... I think the part starting across Calle de Burriana to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is more appealling than the upper part, going to Bioparc. When I was there (May '15), there were many sites of 'work in progress' blotting the beauty... More

Wanted to stop, but our tour did not have the time. The quick look we got gave us more reasons to return to spend some time just walking through this lovely area. As green and full of flowers as it was in February, made us want to return int he Spring and/or early summer to see the place in full... More

The city canalized their river which left a lot of real estate running through the middle of a medieval city. They have put it to great use. Although I did not go to source of river, I walked about a two mile section on this attraction that now has picnic tables, soccer fields, softball fields. Plus the day before we... More

Really enjoyed this area. Easy way to walk through the city and get around and rather lovely scenery. If I'd brought my stuff then I would have totally have gone for a run along this route.

What a sublime idea to use the old riverbed this way and not destroy it by building another highway! Take a walk through the old riverbed of the Turia; it offers a variety of scenery and things to do. A bike comes in handy!

A really great place for a morning run, it's peaceful and pretty. Definitely very easy to lose yourself for a while. I really have enjoyed taking an hour or so out of my day while visiting the city, just to enjoy the area. At the moment however, they are evidently doing some construction work, and many areas are cordoned off... More

a lovely walk, there's bars, children's play area and some wonderful architecture. As there's no traffic in this area walking is very easy. The end of the river bed you arrive at the Oceanografic and the arts and sciences centre.

This park formed from the drained and blocked Turia river cuts across the city and is one of the prettiest parks I've seen in Europe. I would rank it more highly than Regent's Park in London, or Vondelpark in Amsterdam as a place to enjoy a long walk through an oasis of green within a city.

I spent a lot of time here and ended up walking through a good 4-5km stretch of it. Cool sculptures and gardens. Lots of people running and biking.
