It's a great Park, when you can walk around city or visit by bicycle. There lot of trees and fields where you can practise different sports. At weekends it's plenty of people doing sports and going for a walk with their pets.

The Turia river bed is now like a large park, with many trees, shrubs and flowers. The river was diverted many years ago and now it is used for jogging, exercise, and sports.

Nice park right through the middle of Valencia. Full of runners and cyclists and a beautiful place to walk up and down. Full of sites to see including small water areas, a cafe and some statues. Would recommend a walk or even a run in a beautiful sunny day.

The former river bed is now transformed into an urban park, great for walk with places for kids to play. It is quite strange to see bridges hovering over this park, one has a feeling that the river may return at any time... You can descend into the park from the the road half a mile in the direction of... More

Brilliant idea to convert an old river bed into beautiful gardens instead of building a motorway as it was first intended. The gardens are well maintained and there are plenty of walkers, joggers, cyclists and playgrounds for kids My main issue will be with the dogwalkers who don't always pick up after their dogs

This is where the river previously ran close to the city centre before the authorities diverted it elsewhere to create an almost in-town leasure zone.We walked this in August from town centre right down towards the port. I cannot pretend that it is beautiful but diverting a river to create this in town area for walkers and joggers was certainly... More

This is the biggest urban park in Valencia. It was the old river bed. After a flood in 1957, the city diverted the River Tunia and turned the river bed into a park, benefitting the residents and tourists alike. Good city planning.

It is a nice place for giving a walk and see modern buildings. You can mame the tour by bike and it's near the old and the new city.

The 'Antiguo Cause del Rio Turia' is a beautiful linear park following the former course of the River Turia, which was diverted to the outskirts of Valencia following regular flooding of the city. The people of Valencia are fortunate to have this delightful park and urban forest, which runs for over four miles. It's quite an oasis to escape to... More
