It is GORGEOUS on a sunny day. Absolutely lovely. Make a stop and enjoy a meal on a picnic or throw a frisbee, read a book if you can! Also you can use it as a bike highway in order to avoid riding the bike trough the road.

We visited on a Sunday morning and the park was busy with families and individuals enjoying the open spaces. We walked from the Bridge of Flowers to the City of Arts and Sciences, and back again. Lots of families walking and some renting bikes. A bit scary at times the speed that some of the cyclists passed by. They had... More

After disastrous floods in the 50's the wide river Turia in the centre of Valencia was diverted to create a dry riverbed. Since this new central area that runs west to east through the entire city eventually raching the sea has been developed to provide a wide range of activities and atractions for both residents and visitors. To thev east... More

This is a must in Valencia. The park is amazing for all people. Definitely worth the visit. I also suggest making a picnic. It has the perfect setting

You can get great photos of the City of arts and sciences from this park. Try renting a bike and taking ride to this area

We walked almost the whole length of the park and were taken by the cleanliness, beauty, and hidden gems along the way (like a huge Gulliver playground about 1km from the aquarium). Even better, it was well lit at night and full of bikers and runners.

This is a dried up river bed which has been turned in to gardens and sporting areas. It's a beautiful peaceful and safe place to walk, we were able to walk from the City of Arts and sciences back to our hotel thoroughly enjoyable. I probably wouldn't walk there at night.

this is a long long park with cycle tracks and walks which cuts through Valencia, having been reclaimed from a river bed. Excellent facility to toddle about, watch folk doing dances, sports tracking, picnicking, cycling and you can pop into the town at any point. The trees and greenery are a lovely physical and psychological breakwater in this large and... More

The Turia River has been reclaimed and filled in as parks and a recreational area and we walked from the Science Museum almost all the way up to the Torres de Serrano. Took ages but was worth it. A huge expanse of green space around the city with parks, gardens, cafes, children's play area, petanque courts, cafes, giant chess board... More

Definitely a place to visit when in Valencia. Lots of activity equipment with free access but if you don't want to get hot and sweaty, you can take a gentle walk along this former river bed. Lots of joggers, football players, bike riders etc seem to use the park, so best keep an eye out for which track you are... More
