Fascinating modern architecture meets historic old town

It takes you half or a full day to walk around, to admire the architecture and to visit the Museums at this new Ctiy part built along the old river bed.

Have just spent the whole day at this place, taking in a 3D film of the Valencian Fallas and just a small part of the great, and really interactive Museum of Sciences. You could return to this museum time and time again, as one visit really doesn't do it justice.

We visited the Science museum as the Oceanagrafica was closed for a refurb.! We were a bit disappointed at first, the place was full of youngsters who beat us to all the exhibits, but on going up one level it improved a lot and there were quite a few interesting hands-on exhibits. we would have preferred the aquarium, but did... Decided to visit Valencia when we were in Spain last year and saw the CITY OF ARTS AND CULTURE advertised. We intended to visit all the possible sections of this enormous attraction, but ended up spending some 8 hour in the Oceanographic exhibition. This is a permanent exhibition of Ocean life and is probably 20 times the size of the... More

I really enjoyed the architecture of this building and those that surrounded it. Take your camera because you will want to take a picture! The actual museum was also amazing, there are heaps of interactive/ tests to do. I learnt heaps!! Would be a good day out for kids.

It has given Valencia its trademark site. Great architecture by Santiago Calatrava, the greatest gift to his hometown.

Excellent place to walk by in the summer, lots of water and very modern constructions. If you live in Valencia the annual ticket is recommended - buy when it is on promotion.

The best thing about this building is the architecture. Seeing it upfront close and center is a different world. Surrounded by swimming pools, the building looks like a fish. This is located in an amazing park, A must in Valencia.

Amazing experience. Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is well worth a visit, is an original place in which interactivity is king. Children will enjoy a lot. You can spend hours without getting bored inside. The structure built by the famous archistar Calatrava is magnificent.
