Come to the city where birds swim under water. And you take a step and advance 10,000 years. It’s a city where you never grow and you always learn. And you can cross the Atlantic surrounded by sharks. In my city you can almost reach out and touch the stars. And you can go a walk under the sea. And find yourself in a wood. And dance with dolphins. Yes, this city exists.

In general VLC is a typical spanish city with all the tiny streets and the old city center and so on - but than in the middle of the city la ciudad de las artes y sciences appears - an incredible modern area of amazing buldings, pools, nature and entertainment possibilities. It includes the opera, the science museum, a 4D... More

On the photo it looks a set of a Science Fiction movie. In reality it looks a bit less like it. Still it was nice to be there. There are a couple of buildings next o each other, a lot of people walking around. We went in one of these and watched two educational movies about space and about water... More

The architecture of all these amazing buildings are truly out of this galaxy!! It is as though you are encountered with a futuristic blend of old and new mixed into a world of the present. The light of the overpowering sun glazed the surfaces of the buildings which brought them more life! The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia was... More

Although some of the buildings were closed to us during the day. We spent well over 2 hours inside the science centre and more time walking around taking photos of this first part of the complex. A coffee and pastry was enjoyed. Then we crossed over to the biographic park with the sealife centre etc and this was extraodinary in... More

We started our day in Valencia with the City of Arts and Science and it was a real surprise for us to see such a development. We all thought that we would see only an old city. Walk around, enjoy the buildings, take the small train to the gardens. Just a great architectural delight

It's a very beautiful area to walk around and admire the outside architecture. The inside, however, does not provide a satisfactory experience and is not worth the entrance fee. The information, even before you have entered the exhibition is poorly displayed and without any knowledge of how we perceive information. The exhibition itself was terrible, so confusing with no coherence... More

If there was only one venue I could recommend to a friend visiting Valencia, it would be this! This place is stunning at all times of the day (do not miss it by night). This huge futuristic educational complex designed for Valencia by Calatrava will transport you into the 22nd century. Pictures do not do it justice. It is well... More

Was not so able to go inside and visit but it was a great sight to look at in the bright sunny day. It would be more interesting if I get a chance to see from Inside.

But nice for a walk during the night! Enjoy it and go for a drink! (Of course Gin Tonic...) It looks very nice with the lights and the plants.
