Beautiful on the inside and free on immediate entry - spend an extra €5 to see the entirety of the cathedral, get up close to the alter and view the claimed 'Holy Grail'. For only €2 you can climb the tower to get views of Valencia from above. From here you can see many of the plazas, the City of... More

The 5 euro entrance fee is quite a lot,in my opinion, considering this is one of your " run of the mill " cathedrals. Yes, it's nice, and worth seeing but go to the left for the "worship" visits and you can pretty much see everything you'd pay an entrance fee to see for free

Really looked forward to seeing this cathedral, but left a bit flat. The audio guide I felt was overpriced, and not very entertaining. All the traditional chapels and stained glass there, the gem was the cup of the holy grail. This was very interesting, and I would like to have just paid to see this part, but not possible. The... Some people visit these cathedrals and think they all look alike, and perhaps they do. But taking the audio tour will add so much value to what you see in the cathedral and is very worthwhile. I thought it was beautiful and there are several items of interest here including the Holy Chalice. There is also an option to go... More

Very nice to take a look at from the outside but also very nice to visit inside. If you're not afraid to do some stairs, go and visit the tower upstairs. It'll cost a little bit of money but the view is amazing.

GORGEOUS plaza with old world charm and feel. This cathedral is worth visiting. This was one of our ports of call during a cruise and visited the historic old Valencia and it was a treat. Love the fountain in this plaza, it is quite charming. I was surprised of how clean the streets were. Loved the people, so welcoming and... More

one of the oldest cathedrals in Europe. It was very interesting inside and better to go with information so that you can appreciate it more.

Fine place, where you can see the part of history in Valencia. Not something very amazing but definetely worth to see it. Inside you can feel the spirit and there was video show also, where they tell more detailed information.

Like most religious buildings in Spain, this cathedral is standing on the former Islamic mosque which in turn stood on the much earlier Visigothic cathedral which was built on top of a Roman Temple dedicated to Jupiter or Diana (you can see the temple's columns in situ in the Almoina Museum just behind). Its style is a hodge podge of... More

I'm not really a lover of these sorts of things but was quite interesting. Worth a visit anyway, so I'd suggest taking a look if you're in Valencia and looking to take in some of the scenery and culture
