This is a lovely Cathedral. You must visit it when in Valencia. It is a large old, old cathedral with a lovely altar and beautiful paintings. You can walk all around it and take magnificent photographs. This was one of the things that I liked best about our visit to this amazing town!

The cathedral is beautiful. I took many, many photos of the exterior from different angles. Be sure to walk around and see it from the perspective of the different plazas. The church interior is, of course, ostentatious and well worth a visit. The highlight for my friend and I was hiking up the very narrow winding staircase to the top... More

Do invest in the audio guide, but do not forget to look on your own too. There is so much to take it, we took a break and just sat to take it all in. There are many different styles represented in the exterior and interior architecture, artwork and collections. While there was a charge for the audio guide, we... More

The guide is included in the entry ticket and well worth it. Many levels of history here and some fine artworks, all the better for the clear, concise explanations. Recommended.

I enjoyed the cathedral. It's lengthy construction and inclusion of Romanesque, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and some modern art is impressive. The tower climb was worth the price because the views of the city are amazing. If you go up when the bell rings you can see the hammer hit the bell. To see the best parts of the cathedral, including... More

The Cathedral has three entrances in three different styles- Roman, Gothic and Baroque, the Roman entrance situated where the original entrance to the Mosque had been. There are two paintings by Goya on show reflecting the influence/affluence of the Borgas who used the Cathedral. This makes it worthwhile visiting but not making a major journey to be there

Only five euros to get into the cathedral and no extra cost to see holy grail, headset given to explain what you are looking at, not too busy, so plenty of space to stand and take in all the info. Absolutely amazing, took two hours to view .

Travelled up the spiral tower to the top of the Cathedral which led to amazing views right across the city. Beware there are 207 steps to go up first with a small spiral staircase so not for the faint hearted or people with walking problems. Only costs a couple of euros each to go up but definitely worth it. Looks... More

Although an audio guide was part of the entry they had no guidebooks available which was a shame. I like them as they make a good souvenir. The building itself is amazing with the most beautiful architectural details. Well worth a visit. Take your time to slowly walk round then find places to just sit, look, listen and absorb the...
