I like a good cathedral - especially when it is boiling hot outside. Valencia cathedral was all a cathedral should be, calming, cool and welcoming. It also provided an audio commentary which our 2 young girls loved ad you had to find the next 'room' number to continue. The vaulted ceilings were fantastic and the story of the 'real' holy... More

A tranquil place to visit just off main square. Make sure that you walk to the top of the tower. Only a couple of euros and the views certainly give you a great perspective of the centre.

Well worth the 5 Euros for the entrance and audio tour! Very detailed on the history of the cathedral and the art treasures it holds. Many relics including a mummified forearm/hand of a Saint and the Holy Grail. Incredible Gothic structure filled with Renaissance and Gothic art. Don't forget to pay 2 more euros to climb the 207 stairs of... More

Valencia is a beautiful city and there are so many places of interest to explore. We found that the "hop on hop off" bus was the best choice as we saw all of Valencia and then could stop and explore etc. It was the easiest way to get around. The Cathedral was magnificent but then when in Spain, every Cathedral... More

A nice building quite light but did not have quite what I was expecting of a Cathedral. Some lovely paintings

The exhibits in this cathedral are well worth the visit. The views after climbing (Torre Del Micalet) with just over 220 steps were well worth the views. The tour was very reasonably priced and included audio recording. Impressive and a must visit.

This wasn't just Another B___ Cathedral, it had an interesting audio track (included in our admission price of €3.50 – I don’t begrudge the funds that go towards Cathedral maintenance) and more to see than most cathedrals (they have the real Holy Grail…) Apparently the view from the tower is stunning – we gave that one a miss – but... Reasonable price for a tourist attraction and plenty to see. It is absolutely stunning. Would have liked more info on some of the parts on the audio recording. The walk up to the tower is tricky - narrow steps for passing and not for the infirm! However the view is stunning. Disgraceful that, like so many parts of the city,... More
