Not as ornate as other Spanish cathedrals of note (e.g. Sevilla, Granada, Malaga,...) this is nevertheless an impressive piece of engineering and architecture. The tower is definitely worth a climb (202 fairly steep steps) for the great views from the top.

Yes, it's another nice cathedral however there are plenty to see in Spain. If you can't get there, don't worry

I spent a hour looking round the cathedral and although the outside does not look very special the inside is truly amazing and well worth the 5 euro entry fee. We also got to see the holy Grail which is on display, and according to most Christian historians it is the most likely candidate for being the authentic cup used... More

This is one of those rare buildings we can barely look after let alone build today. If your in Valencia is is a must see for your itinerary.

Make sure you visit this stunning building. Take an audio tour for 5 Euros and see the great combination of baroque and gôthic architecture. Lucky enough to see the holy grail. Does not look much from outside.

With 2 of the Goya's paintings, a huge cathedral in Baroque and Renaissance styles. If you are a fan of cultural activities abroad, you'll love it.

Not as stunningly ornate as some Spanish cathedrals-which for me was welcome. I was more aware of its quality as an active place of worship rather than simply a 'tourist attraction'. If you want the spectacular, go up the tower-beware...it's an exhausting experience!

Went to the cathedral on our last day. We'd read the reviews and decided to 'turn right' and pay the 5 euros to see the whole cathedral, the 'holy grail' and have the audio guide. The cathedral is really impressive, the altar area is really something special. The audio guide is really informative - short and snappy so gives you... More

Beautiful and interesting Cathedral. Very interesting paintings on the wall. Very interesting windows and roof. We were there on a Sunday the end of a mass as we arrived and the start of another as we left - we did not have to pay any entrance fee. Worth a visit.
