You can enter the cathedral for free, but if you want to visit the 'treasure' rooms, you have to pay. I think it was worth a visit. I personally like the architecture of churches and thought it was relaxing to take a look at the treasure room and the 'holy grail'.

It's not a big area the old town of Valencia, but it takes time, because you will stop at each and every Corner to watch and enter the sights, Restaurants and Shops.

We went into the Cathedral while exploring the old town, as pensionistas we had a reduced price entry and an audio guide was included in the price. This made it more interesting as it told a lot of the history of the Cathedral. Good tour.

Very good audio tour. Richly decorated and full of history, with many beautiful artworks. Quite busy at the weekend and we had to wait until mass had finished before beginning our tour, it's good it is still a working church.

Valencia Cathedral is a magnificent architectural structure and whether your interests are religious, historical or architectural this is an amazing building inside and outside. There is a fee for entering, so if you don´t want to pay at minimum walk around it´s perimeters. There are frequently some people begging outside, just to be aware.

For €5 Euro you get good value in the form of an audio guide and a wonderful church showcasing bona fide relics (the macabre arm of a saint surrounded by perfectly sculptured Renaissance alabaster included). There have also been restorations that highlight the old gothic style that existed before the Neo-classic renovations which is interesting. It also houses the (apparent)... More

The cathedral is home to some historic objects. One is a cup which is claimed to be the one used at the last supper. It is in a chapel on the right hand side of the entrance. There are also 2 Goya paintings in a chapel on the right hand side. The holy grail chapel can be visited in the... More

The cathedral is a great looking building, and even more so from inside. Some interesting architecture and impressive decorations.
