Our adventure started here after leaving the airport. Directions were clear and we decided to use the ticket machine instead of trying the manned kiosk. The machine has English as a language to select. It was confusing about how many tickets for how many persons. However upon reflection the "ticket" issued is in fact your metro card which you "load"... More

Arrived late after a delayed flight, ticket desk closed so bought tickets from machine. Barrier allowed access to platform so myself and other passengers (who also bought tickets) waited and waited but no train arrived. Eventually left platfom and had to get a taxi to the city. If there are no trains why are you allowed to buy tickets and... More

Convenient cheap and clean, I used the Valencia Metro trains several times during my stay in Valencia. The greatest comfort I felt the connection between the airport and the city center, a very advantageous price of a few euros. Without a doubt I think it's the best way to visit every corner of the city without having to pay a... More

We used the Valencia metro system to an extent, but were not that impressed with it. The frequency of metro trains is not that great on all lines. Also we had a problem with the ticket generation machine which gave us only one ticket for the cost of two. Nevertheless the metro was clean and fast and also punctual. I... More

We only used this once to get from the city centre to the beach. The ticket machines are Multi Language, just select what you need. Then it's simply single or return. There are a few other ticket options but we just chose return and the fare was €3.80.journey time was about 15 minutes. The trains seem to run about every... More

Used it extensively over a period of four months. Good, reliable, clean and cost effective. Buy a 10 journey card for an initial 8 euros and a bit. Do not throw the card away when it is exhausted. Go to the machine and refill it for 7.35 euros. That way you end up travelling across the city for 0.73 cents.... More

Im a constant user of the metro. Its by far one of the worst from the cities I´ve visited in europe! It takes too long between one train and the other. Use ur google maps and take the bus!

The metro of Valencia is clean and easy to use. Although it does not cover the whole city, this is the cheapest way to get to town from the airport - for just 3,90 eur! The trains are clean and new, arriving on time. Equiped with escalators.
