Description: BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion...
BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

Beautiful zoo, and very well laid out, giving the impression that the animals were close to one another. Nice cafe/restaurant where you can sit watching the animals, birds, and fish in a water feature. A must to visit if in Valencia.

A wonderful concept of giving animals plenty of space and keeping them in naturalistic surroundings, with species that they would naturally mix with. The areas with animals are separated from the humans by moats and glass,, rather than cages, giving a more comfortable feel to the visit. All areas are large, with efforts obviously being made to keep the animals... More

Wonderful way to present animals where you are so close to them. Compact layout and show ring make this a very easy attraction. A number of eating options reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Valencia.

Interesting zoo with different(African) areas. At the entrance staff advised to visit the bird show which was indeed very nice with not only birds but also other animals walking 'around'. Madagascar area was less accessable, only with a guided tour (in Spanish - in our group no-one was native Spanish!). Both other areas were free accessable and it was a... More

Well worth a visit when in Valencia. Very user friendly, everything on the flat, no hills to climb and wheel chair access is very good. Very easy to walk round as it is not a huge place. A lot of thought and planning regarding the layout of the park was very evident. People and animals are very close when walking... More
