BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

Biopark is an amazing zoo. From the moment we walked round madagascar island with lemurs free to roam where they wanted we knew we we're in for somethingg different. Meals in the restaurant were tasty and relatively cheap for a tourist attraction. We've now been spoilt for future zoos!

Arrived to the park on a cloudy day at 3pm (park closes at 6pm during this period) which meant there was significantly less people than we expected. I think we only saw around 10 other families if that! The tickets where about €27 and I thought it was worth it from my experience. We were given a map and directions... More

Bioparc Valencia is great for a whole day as the price (€23.80) does initially put you off. Once there however you can see the animals are well looked after and in spacious surroundings with what I suppose is a nice "homey" touch for them. Everything is well sign-posted with a picnic area for those who don't want to eat at... More

We loved seeing the animals in big open spaces, often different species together, easy to see, no cages as such. Quite different from the usual experience in zoos and far pleasanter. An excellent café and a really good show in the amphitheatre showing birds and animals moving around the space and the audience

though they might adjust their price, Bio parc Valencia is an overpriced small zoo to visit. We went there with the family, however will not go back, simply because of the high rated fees that are waiting for you at the gates. Unless you have special passes or a special deal, I would skip it for your visit to Valencia.... More

Definitely recommend visiting! A wide variety of African animals in a very nice surrounding. Worth the visit not only with children.

The hotle we stayed in offered a special package, which included the taxi fare to and from, as well as the entry fee. The Zoo itself is very well kept and organised and offers fabulous views of animals in remarkably large 'living spaces'. Yes, this is a Zoo, but the animals are generally given a fair amount of space and... More

I think it's one of the nicest zoos I've been to. Natural looking rock walls (the brown concrete spray type), no fences as such. Animals are nice and close, you can feed the giraffes. Sunny terrace cafe just across some water from giraffes and water birds. The hyenas are just behind a low rock wall, scary really with them hungrily... More

Lord knows, you don't need yet another review of this wonderful, subtly instructive, educational place. Forget zoos, wild animals with frightened eyes in cages. Slip into this sensitive place where the lion really will sleep with the lamb (separated, safely, by a protective channel of water that you really don't notice).Wander through its savannah and African wet zones. Meander too... More

This is a very well thought out zoo. The animals are not in cages but in large enclosures. The facility is very clean and the walk is lovely. I recommend this adventure even though I do not normally like or visit zoos
