BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

I've been to many bioparcs and enjoyed this one very much. It's at the south-west extremity of the river Turia and about a 15-20 min bike ride from the old city. The animals are very well cared for in spacious open areas. It's particular because there's a lot of interaction between the animals and humans but within the animals environment.... More

I haven't been to many bioparcs (one in Montreal) but this is very special. Children of all ages including teenagers should visit this place. use your IKEA card for rebate.

I bought the annual pass and it's absolutely worth it. Walking through the garden with the lemurs around you is a great experience. The range of animals might be a bit smaller than in other zoos but here the animals are well taken care of and the areas are quiet big so they have enough space. Not just for kids... More

My girls won't stop talking about the lemurs. There is an area where you walk through a garden where the lemurs are in the trees. The handlers are there to watch, but what an amazing experience. This zoo is special. It is a much more open zoo. The animals can get quite close, but at a safe distance. We've been... More

......and hate zoos normally. The animals looked well looked after and happy and the circuitous route through the park was a very good way of seeing them all in something like a natural environment.

The ticket price is pretty steep but the park was well organised and the animals were all pretty free to roam, especially the lemurs. I did wish bigger animals like the elephants and lions had more space to move around, their enclosures looked rather small to me. We witnessed the rare spectacle of the lemurs howling in fright and warning,... More

Its absolutely amazing, the kids and grandchildren loved it so am taking the great grandchildren in September. It is so wonderful to see animals in surroundings that are more natural to their species and needs and with adequate space for them to move about

Best Zoo ever! The animals look happy and the environments that have been built for them are superb. It's great how they put lots of different animals in together. A highlight was being able to wander around the lemur enclosure and get mega close to these amazing and very cute animals. Also very affordably priced. A great day out for... More
