BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

When I landed in Valencia, after a quick stop at the hotel, my first stop was the Bioparc Valencia. I was in awe, at first the randomness of the location was slightly off putting, but don't let that stop you. Once you get inside the view changes. The walk over the bridge into the park is stunning, lake on one... More

Please do not be put off by the look of the entrance. This is one of the jewels in Valencia`s crown. It is not like any other zoo and the show in the amphitheatre is a must.

This is a zoo that focuses on Africa and is one of the best I have ever visited. The animals are in as close to their habitat as they could be in a city zoo and share space with other animals and seem happy and wander about in vast open spaces some with and some without glass walls. Clean, beautiful... More

The animals are cute and you can see all which live in Safari. The restaurants are crowded but we managed to find a table. They offer everything at higher prices but it is common among attraction sites. You can not bring in your own food but they will keep it for you at the entrance.

The Biopark is well worth a visit. It's much nicer than an ordinary zoo. The animals are well looked after in beautiful surroundings.

Would recommend this to anyone who's interested in seeing African animas up close. The park seems very natural, and the animals aren't trapped in a little cage. It didn't take us as long to walk through as we thought. About 3 hours with a coffee break beside the giraffes. Also went to the animal show at 1pm - was cute... More

It was a great zoo. You felt right up close to the animals. They only had mostly African animals and it was quite small for a zoo. Only took us 2.5 hours to look around.. We took our time and had lunch. But it was really pretty and I'd definitely recommend it :)

This is probably the best animal park that we have visited anywhere (even better than animal kingdom at Disney. The environment that has been created is truely superb and the joy of seeing groups of animals that normally live together in the wild e.g. one savannah has Rhino/Zebra/Storks/Ostrichs, without bars or in most cases plexiglass is magical. As 2 adults... More

I don`t like zoos, but this one is amazing. The animals are well cared and fed. And they`re so cute!

beautiful environment for the animals; a MUST visit for the kids. avoid the cafeteria though: long queues and limited quality!
