BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

This is as close to watching wild life in its natural habitat as it can be within a city. It gives you the feeling that you can touch the animals cause they are right there, in a stretch of your arm. Not imprisoned in inconvenient cages, but within fields that look like their home. You might even get the chance... More

Africa at the heart of Valencia, although as a matter of fact it isn't at the heart, but on the top left corner of the city next to the Parque de Cabecera with its lake where you can rent a swan shaped boat. Bioparc is gorgeous with its waterfalls and luxuriant vegetation and, of course, all the animals from Africa.... More

One of the best trips ever. The park has really made it all about the animals so their enclosures are focused to the best of the park's ability on what they would properly experience in the wild. It's easy to navigate around and has lots of shaded seating areas around. As to be expected the food and drinks available are... More

Good day out. Park design well thought out with interesting animals to view. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of ground to cover.

Visiting Bioparc is unforgettable for me and my family. It was a great experience. We spent a whole afternoon there and enjoyed every minute. It was interesting to be close to the wild habitats that have been recreated there: the Savannah, Madagascar and Equatorial Africa. Biopark is well designed and clean. Although I don't want to see the animals kept... More

Very nice, neat and clean park, which was focussed on African animals. Mostly mammals and birds, but also a few fish, amphibians and reptiles. There was a nice bird show, which ran twice a day when we were there. The zoo tried to make the boundaries between the different animal enclosures invisible, and although this does not take away the... More

I was really keen to visit the Bioparc as it is quite heavily advertised and I have heard good reviews. Nothing could have prepared us for the amazing experiences we were met with that day! The monkey section of the park was amazing enough, with the animals roaming freely around. However, turning the corner and seeing the Sahara-like setting that... More
