Owner description: BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

Very well landscaped, animals in very spacious territories, amazingly clean both visitors´and animals´ sides. Very cosy, green, well designed with the thought for both people and animals. If you have time only for Biopark or Aquarium, I would recommend to start with Biopark.

Generally not a fan of zoos, i don't think it's right, but I do recognise the benefits for children and public to have an appreciation of animals.... The zoo is on of the better ones I have visited and it took a good few hours to walk round. The condition is good and very well laid out. The animals do... More

We had a really nice time at this zoo. We really liked the way this zoo was set up, both for the animals and for the patrons. We ended up only spending about an hour here, since our five year old was pretty much done after that. Our 10 year olds could have spent a lot longer there. They have... More

We went to Bioparc after a 2 hour visit to the oceanographic and we adored it. The barriers between the animals and us were really invisible and we wondered what was separating us from the wild animals like the leopard and lions. We touched the giraffes and waved at the elephants. We bought tickets at the entrance for a special... More

We visited this animal park with the family. The kids really enjoyed it. They could see close-up all the animals and were looked after by the friendly keepers,

Went on 2 Jan 2015 and had a lovely day here, could have stopped and watched the giraffes all day. Just a warning to Motorhomers, problems parking as only underground parking and you cannot get into supermarket car park (as we were advised) as height barriers, so be warned. The other neg was not allowed to take in food they... More

We've been to zoos in a few countries and while this isn't the biggest it's one of the best, maybe because it concentrates on one continent. It is easily accessible from the Turia Gardens, there was also a bus stop outside and underground car park. We walked though the gardens from Ad Hoc Monumental hotel in about 45 minutes. Having... I've been to zoo's in a few different countries, and I must say that it impressed me with it's beauty and care for the animals. Usually, the zoo it's not the place you go to see happy animals, but here, many of them really looked like they were enjoying themselves. If you do wish to get away from the city... More

You will need the whole day to visit the biopark properly. There is underground parking in the street outside and local buses to the city. I think the tourist bus also stops here. Don't miss monkey isle, it is great to see the monkeys running around you and walk past one in the tree. The cafe in the centre is... More
