A great way to spend the day. Plenty of animals to see in the different sections of the Bioparc. The animals look very settled in the environment but you can get really close and there's tons of opportunities for photographs. Not too expensive as it's well worth what you pay. Easy to walk around and the show in the theatre... More

My three (adult) friends and I spent a long afternoon at the Bioparc (we took the bus from the city centre). We loved the way that barriers and fences seemed to be non-existent and environments for the animals were well considered. Different species were sometimes grouped together rather than being penned as individual species giving a much more natural 'feel'... More

It was a pleasure to walk around and see the animals roaming around instead of being in cages. Pleasant cafes, reasonably priced at the waters edge where you can watch the giraffes. Good views of all the animals from various points. Lemurs sit in the trees as you pass. A good, and reasonably priced day out.

Great time for a family. Great layout and very walkable, lovely landscaping and animals seemed content -- the day we went the elephants were playing together in their waterfall. Signs in Spanish and English explaining conservation efforts and animals throughout.

Have been to many zoo's around the world and was really impressed with the conservation side of the zoo and the friendly staff. Animals are well cared for and the zoo itself is impressive. Highly recommend it !!

I took a school group here and it was excellent value. Our guide was brilliant and really good with the pupils. I am so glad we stayed for the birds and animal show as it was amazing. We went on a weekday I think it gets quite busy of a weekend

Superb time spent at the bioparc. Very clean and distinct species of animals and birds. Had a lovely take. If you plan to travel keep atleast 2 - 3 hrs in hand for it.

We had rather limited expectations when we arrived (on foot) at the Parc. Several of the buildings near the entrance appeared to be derelict, and the whole place appeared under-used and virtually closed. Nevertheless we braved it, and once in the Parc we realised how well it was done. An excellent way to see the animals, all of whom appeared... More

This place is one of the best zoos I have ever been to. They have big enclosures and the animals are not kept in cages and they all have a lot of room to move around. You get really close to the animals without having to look through fencing or glass. The cafe/restaurant has an outside seating area that looks... More
