There's a statue of the crucified Christ. When you visit the church you touch the feet of Jesus. The spot where everyone has touched His feet is worn and smooth. True sense of awe and the divine when you enter this church.

It's really nice, day or night. We went in at about 11:30 in the evening and it was still quite busy with visitors though not so many that you couldn't get to see anything. Take a pew and just soak it all in!

Worth a small hike through the winding streets. Iconic roof leaves you in no doubt as to where you are. Lovely area outside to relax.

When in the Old Town a visit to the church is a must! Its beautiful, ornate décor is breath-taking. Its such a peaceful and I find emotional place, even though I'm not particularly religious. It is free to visit, but there is a donation box to help with the up-keep of the church. Well worth a visit!

located on the headland, above the harbour near to the tourist information office. This is a beautiful church worthy of a visit for its tranquility and beauty. It has just held its 275 anniversary.

lovely ornate church near the point of benidorm. Ignore the beggars on the way in, there is no charge for visiting the church. The inside is amazing, there are several paintings and sculptures. The only negative is the "fake candles" i would have preferred to light a tea light in memory of my loved ones and paid a euro.

Inside the paint work is so decorative. There's a small Chapel inside dedicated to the Virgin del sufragio. Again all beautifully painted.. you can go and light a candle if you wish.. although i didnt like that it was electronic candles..

A small ornate Roman Catholic Church well worth a short visit and a few moments of quiet contemplation. There are beggars at the main entrance, whether or not you ignore them, as others have suggested, I'll leave to your own conscience. The only negative, and this purely a personal viewpoint, was the "electric candle" machines. Perhaps I'm too much of... More
