Although this was considered their winter it was like our warm spring days. Lovely beach and all whom I came in contact with were very friendly

I went here several times, not only to sunbathe or swim, but also to walk. A long, sandy beach, perfect for walking, as well as the more relaxing activities. I want by the tram to the far end of the beach, and walked back. It is just wonderful

We were here in tow weeks in Sept-Oct and were very pleased with the stay. The beach was clean and the sea fantastic. Many good restaurants by the beach.

Staying at holiday Inn here, which has been stuck in an eighties time warp, serious update required, tv with no hdmi connection with 1 British channel and wifi in lobby rather than whole hotel, area is,pretty quiet area, shortish walk to beach which is lovely with bars and clubs and even a macdonalds, worth a visit just for beach.

Playa de San Juan is all about the Beach, it is perfect for walkers, joggers and cyclists as it has a 6 Kilometre promenade. There are small beach bars and Restaurants as you walk along so if you want a pit stop they are well situated. The beach is beautiful with excellent waves, you only pay €4.00 for a sun... More

Nice beach , very huge but the sea is more savage than others like Santa Pola . It is full of restaurants and very close to Alicante. It is very residential, so it is very familiar but there are many young people having fun . Good place to stay

It's one of my favourite beaches in Alicante. It's very big so you feel less crowded, there's plenty of space for the hoards of sun-bathers in august. There are several "beach clubs" that rent loungers and umbrellas (12€ for 2 loungers and 1 umbrella) for the day. Lots of nice restaurants right on the beach, but if it's high season... More

Long, sandy, clean, well maintained beach a short tram ride North of the city. Much nicer than the crowded city beach.

Lovely long beach. Very hard to find parking, with lots of people but it is mid august so no surprise! Just dont be tempted to park too outlandishly ie between trees as a few cars were being towed away! The sea was lovely and salty but quite a lot of seaweed bits in it in the shallow water - clear... Take the coastal tram from Luceros or Mercado on L4 go to PL.La Coruna or L3 go to Costa Blanca. The beach is totally unspoilt and I have spent many hours paddling along its length. Its a combination of the warm sea and the coolness of the sea breeze which makes it absolute magic. Right along the beach are small... More
