The human figures are in something like a Socialist Realism style, but the bulls are threateningly impressive.

Best thing about this attraction is that it provides proportion as to how it would feel to be on the street during the running of the bulls, you can actually have an idea of the proportion of these animals and of the idiocy of this event and the one that follows.

It is an impressive statue in the main shopping street of Pamplona, depicting running bulls and men. It made our son go "roarrr""!

Yes you come to Pamplona for the running of the bulls. Been there done that. Not a whole lot more around here than chasing scaried cattle. This was a pretty cool statue that I had my picture taken with.

the creator did a good job catching the movement in a freeze. It's difficult to shoot a picture without anybody else hanging around ;-)

A Pamplona standard. If you visit Pamplona, you will see it. It is just up Carlos III from the Plaza de Castillo about 70m. Lots of tourists taking pictures. You can be fined if you climb up on the sculpture. As long as you are there, I believe there is a small fairly non-descript marker in memory of one German... More

Beautiful monument, stunning statues, capturing the movement and the run beautifully. Piece of art! I saw in Basque Country several statues around featuring the "toro", beautiful! In January 2014, when we booked our Basque Country trip, we struggled to find sufficient information about the Running of the Bulls / San Fermin in Pamplona. Having been there from 5th till 7th... The monument is located right in the centre of town. As far as statue type monuments are concerned this is one of the best around.
