Just on the edge of the city centre, a nice place to stroll around after a lengthy dinner. Look out for the wild animals and the tortoises.

we walked around the whole citadel, which was very easy to do from the location of our hotel, the citadel is nearly completely intact, so it gives you a wonderful idea of how this city was defended against its many enemies in the old days.. worth a visit and a very nice walk at that
The Citadel is a nice place to go for a walk and some of the higher elevated areas give good views of the city. Unfortunately we couldn't get inside the buildings, I'm not sure that was due to the date we were there or if that is never possible.
