Went to Pamplona to Run with the Bulls. We ended up bumming around the old part of town where the Run takes place, neat old architecture and lots of history. It has a Mardi Gras vibe. lots of people partying waiting for the runners to run.

People who received us were excellent. They gave us a tour and told us how they work activities. We gave the group the opportunity to throw us picture on the balconies of Hall.

A fine facade/building to house your local political leaders. Although the extension is not so grand in comparison. I was shown the famous bull run which passes this every July.

The history of the Town Hall is fascinating. It was located at the meeting point of three boroughs of the city that were united by Carlos III under the Privilege of the Union in early 15th century. The St Fermin Festival is triggered from the main balcony and it is also brought to a close here.

A beautiful town hall. Decorated with flowers and flags. The bull run comes right past here with it showing on many of the photographs

We met some local Pamplona Police officers during the San Fermin festival and got a personal tour of the inside of the building. Very impressive and has a beautiful huge coat of arms on the wall.

What a lovely building! The combinations of architectural styles on the facade work really well. There is a useful information board to the right of the building as you look at it which has a lot of interesting details. I rather like the Hercules figures! The memorial to the 'fallen' in the Encierro is to the left of the building.

I have no idea of its age but it has a wonderful baroque style . Inside it is functional and busy and at the centre of Pamplona life as a "Town Hall" should be.
