Just got back from a week's holiday at La Manga Club. We had a 3 bedroom villa in the Miradores Complex. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. I recently returned from a week's tennis holiday with a friend in La Manga. The apartment we rented was expensive, smelled of damp and had horrible, dated decor. We have just returned from our first trip to the club. For tennis it is great, all ages, including adults, catered for. Our 15 yr old and 12 yr old were enrolled in the academy, 2 hours daily, starting at 11. Our 15 yr old had individual lessons the 2nd week which went really well. Have been to La Manga tennis centre over 15 times, it is a dream for tennis lovers. 28 courts, mostly clay, excellent coaches that are fluent in English. It is not cheap though, you have to pay to hire courts and individual coaching is expensive compared to UK prices. A good option is to go in to the academy which... more
