One of my favorite things I saw while in Madrid. I was on a guided tour of the city when I saw it for the first time. The history and tradition that surrounds the fountain is wonderful!
must vie for the most beautiful plaza on earth. the palacio de comunicaciones would have to be my favourite building on earth. you see nothing but impressive streets surrounding this absolutely incredible plaza.truly amazing
One of Madrid's symbols, it is literally impossible to miss it, it's right in the centre of the city. Also it is where the fans of my favourite football team , Real Madrid, celebrate their victories. Architectural and sentimental meaning to the city
This is simply a lovely fountain of the goddess of nature in a chariot with two lions carrying her. The fountain is located in the middle of a very busy circle - do not dare to try and reach it. It's nice, but we felt it is a bit overrated.
Get a photo of the fountain frrm any corner. Look at the magnificent architecture of the surroundig buildings. You are bound to pass here if you walk to the muesums on the Passeo del Prado.
The Cybeles fountain is very beautiful. Unfortunately there is no way to cross to get a close look at it and the best spot is a bus stop. I just hope there would be a way to get closer without all the drivers trying to hit you.
If you are in the Prados area you need to come here and take a few pictures. You can't touch the fountain because is in the middle of the street but from the sidewalk looks very nice. Also, this is the place where people in Madrid celebrate their achievements like football championships.
