Not as expected

We were at Pacha last friday and I was really disappointed. There was only one stage open (trance, house), which means you cannot choose from music genres. No face & dress control... read more

My boyfriend ordered 2 shots and one drink, she served 2 drinks instead, when I told her we wanted only one drink she was in denial and not changing the order, to avoid a confrontation we had the 2 drinks instead. She didn't recognize her mistake and was very rude. I'm not used to that, I guess it happens in... More

We had a blast at this place - not only is it nice to have a high ceiling and this "theatre" like feeling but also the music was EXCELLENT!!! The service was very slow at the beginning but the moment we had a decent spending it flipped and we got top notch service: fruits, sisha and even a DomP Rose... More

Me and my friends went there on a Saturday night but my guy friends couldn't get in because they were on their t-shirts (who wears long sleeves in Madrid??). Anyway, we tried to understand the situation because that was the policy, and all of a sudden we saw these Securities (guys in suit outside) letting a guy in just wearing... More

We were at Pacha last friday and I was really disappointed. There was only one stage open (trance, house), which means you cannot choose from music genres. No face & dress control I guess. The entry was 16 EUR and you get a free drink included in it. If you have been to Pacha Ibiza do not visit that one... More

People had the worst mentality I've ever met. It was also the worst experience of my life in a nightclub. I spent 17€ to get in, but I stayed only 10 minutes because of spanish girls that said we had stolen in their bags, but it was a whim of candy girls and the bouncer didn't try to understand the... Very, very, very crowded place despite the size of it. 95% of the peolple inside were U-20's. The decor it's from 10 years ago. The staff is very aggressive, acting like they're mob controllers and almost nobody speaks English. It took me 1h20, yes ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES, to pick up two coats from the cloakroom

I lived in spain, guess i was considered a local, and never had a problem getting into this club...ever! Not sure what the people previously are commenting about that. Anyway, great club! Fun! Latest music always. Worth the wait in line ... if you have to wait. Authentic European club experience,

I would go with groups of students from my university (St. Louis Uni in Madrid) and it was lots of fun! Drinks are pricy, but it is a fun place to go!

Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
