Visited the zoo during the week for something to do while in Madrid. The location is promising as it appears to be a very large site, but what is inside was not worth the money. Animals were kept in very small enclosures, there seemed to be no staff anywhere, flamingos and peacocks were roaming free, none of the scheduled shows... More

We got there by Teleferico, but keep in mind that you have to walk 20-30 minutes to the entrance. The zoo is nice and large, I like that there are animals which are not in cages and it creates the idea of space. You can feed some of the animals and watch shows. It is a nice attraction for all... I have to admit that being a panda fan since childhood I got a little excited at the prospect of seeing pandas in Madrid so we had to go. The zoo didn't disappoint. All the animals are easy to find and you go to each in the order of your choosing, Xiao Bing the panda cub was adorable. I would... More

The Place is just OK. We went in one of the hottest days in ages so the animals were sleeping but that's not to blame the staff. What is outrageous is the prices at the restaurants and so on... 3,5€ for the same ice cream you buy at McDonald's for 2€ I know this places take advantage of customers but... More

I know zoos are always going to be controversial and ordinarily I would err on the side of caution and not go. However we have a nearly two year old who loves to see animals and I thought this would be a good day out when combined with the ride on the Teleferico into the Casa de Campo (easy to... More

Dear guest, our animals’ well-being is our upmost priority, and we work hard every day to offer them the best care and facilities adapted to each species. Feeding the animals’ is only allowed in the flamingo prairie and the little farm, only using the approved food you can get in the vending points. We always educate our guests to avoid... More

After getting off at the Casa de Campo metro station, thinking we were next to the park, we took a long walk to the zoo. Our initial impressions were that the zoo was well kept and clean, and none of the animals seemed to be in any pain or danger. Until we went to see the elephants that was. There... More

This place was one of the highlights of my trip to Madrid. I am a big animal lover and this zoo has so much to offer. The variety of animals is great and the zoo itself is huge!! The Zoo was a real surprise for us - totally exceeded our expectations. Besides seeing the great variety of animals & birds don't miss the live shows: dolphins & prey birds are totally worth it!

I cannot praise this zoo enough. I have been to some awful ones and actually walked out crying as I felt the animals were neglected or distressed, This place seems so happy. Huge areas for each species. Got a great Selfie with a giraffe! The brown bears are entertaining in their own right. well worth purchasing a bag of nuts... More
