Following the same model of opened spaces and integration into scenery, in order not to have the cage impression, you may see plenty of animals that seemed in excellent conditions. In additions to panda, you may see also a white tiger, also the giraffes and zebras are kept together, that looks somehow natural. Many of them have baby animals, a... More

A winter trip so various enclosures and part of aquarium closed for refurbishment. Some of the animals were in very small enclosure that seemed to be mainly mud - that was a bit depressing. The general environment is good - wide pathways, lots of trees for shade in heat of summer, lots of facilities. The food in the restaurant was... More

Dear guest, we are deeply sorry for your inconvenience, this year is our 20th anniversary so we are working hard on improving our facilities. Regarding the restaurant services, there are different options throughout the Zoo: a la carte, traditional cuisine, fast food in the Hamburguesería Virunga, or the Bar Bocatas, as well as in our main cafeteria. Thank you for... More

The park as an alternative to the busy streets of Madrid is excellent and relaxing if visited on weekdays. Some renovations on the aquarium - not such a large aquarium. This is why it got 4/5 stars for me. Most of the souvenir shops we're closed but that's understandable cause it was a weekday. Advise that you allow 3-4 hours... More

Madrid Zoo is one of the better zoos we've been to around Europe. They had many fantastic animals, with the Pandas and the White Tigers being highlights, the reptile house was also very good. We spent about 6 hours going around the whole zoo, most of the animals had very well maintained and spacious enclosures with caring staff. However there... More

I enjoyed the dolphin show alot unfortunately the seal show was cancelled which I was sad about. I loved looking at all the animals and there was very unique animals like the pandas and koalas which was cool to see. It was a good day overall.

Loved this Zoo, particularly the pandas and watching the dolphin training. It's amazing how close you get to the animals here. And all animals seemed well-cared for and content, seeing them interact with their keepers showed the care and love shown for the animals here.

Madrid Zoo is is a wonderful park on the edge of town. Therefore there is ample space for all the animals and visitors. There are a wonderful selection of animals. We took the cable car over to where the zoo was and it is about a 15 min walk downhill from the cable car to the zoo. It cost €35.00 for entry to the zoo including the cable car, we also hired a golf cart to drive around the zoo as we were short on time and this was also... More

Prices range at around 21 euros per person, but are cheaper bought in advance on the website. There are daily dolphin exhibitions, exotic birds and other animal exhibitions as well as animal talks. All animals have enough space, seriously. If you compare it to other zoos it's just about the same. The variety of animals here are very large. You... More
