The zoo was fun, right from the beginning. We took the easy Metro ride and walked a way to the gates, not too long and through the park. A very big attraction is the giant pandas. We saw three, the baby mom and dad. They can be inside or outside depending on weather but you can see them either way.... More

Lot of animals, birds, fishes, well arranged according to continents. Enjoyed the zoo, delfinarium and aquarium with my 3 years boy.

The zoo was a great lace to visit - it doesn't open until 10.30am and the queue was quite long- I would recommend booking online but they also have machines there to book online at the zoo and it will print your tickets - accommodates most languages. Zoo highlights were the sealion show, dolphin show and being able to have... More

The zoo is more or less a traditional zoo. The gardens were nice and the animals was plentiful. We spent more then 6 hours waling around to see all the enclosures, the sea lion and dolphin shows (really fun and entertaining - find a seat in the shade) and grabbed a burger for lunch. As our Spanish capabilities are non-existing,... More

Dear visitor: We are glad that you enjoyed your visit from Denmark. The map given to the visitors at the beginning of the tour is very useful for the visit and to find out the exhibitions timetable in Spanish and English. However, the posters, that you can see through the tour, include information about all the species in Spanish and... More

We went to the zoo with our nearly two year old and had a brilliant day; there are lots of animals to see and quite a few that you don't often see in the UK (pandas, elephants, white tiger, dolphins etc). We walked from the casa de campo station and it was well sign posted and didn't take too long.... More

Not mentioned in any of the guide books we had for Madrid, this place is a short (eur10) taxi journey from the Gran Via, and we enjoyed a full day here. Superb selection of animals, with great access. Several good shows take place each day with the Dolphin show being the highlight. The aquarium wasn't that impressive, but taken as... More

I have a lot to say about this place, mostly good, but also some bad, especially if you're used to zoos in the United States. I think it would be best to separate these out into two groups followed by some general recommendations. The Good This zoo has a ton of variety. There are many species represented and they have... Me and my girlfriend went to the Zoo together as we were on a trip to Madrid city. At first, you'll need a metro to reach to the place. but you might need to take another bus (number 33) to get to the entrance or else you will have to walk about 1.5 kilometers. My suggestion: get there as soon... More

Thanks for sharing your opinion with us about the Aquarium and the exhibitions. In addition to the birds of prey, parrots and dolphins performances, we also recommend the sea lions and talks about animals that are taught by educators. We hope tha you have the chance to repeat your visit and to check it out! Regards. More
