This is my FAVORITE museum in Madrid. Seeing the tapestries made in person is fascinating. They literally have 100s of spools of thread hanging from a single tapestry. The tour is very interesting, but it is in Spanish. more

We toured the factory in July, 2007. The factory is wheelchair accessible. (There is a side entrance for wheelchair patrons) The tour was short but intersting. We were able to witness the art of tapestry weaving and see colorful and large tapestry's. We were disappointed that we could not purchase any tapestry at the end of the tour...They don't have... more
