It is located near Barajas Airport and is about 13 km north of the Plaza de Colon downtown. It is a large park that occupies 14 hectares. It is also a romantic park that has Italian and French influences. There is a small palace that was constructed by Antonio and Martin Lopez Aguado. The park has a winding artificial river... More

A romantic and peaceful park in Madrid, full of secrets that you must discover. Open just on weekends. Metro station capricho. Driving close to parque Juan Carlos I. Recommended to everybody , specially if you like pictures!

What a nice park this is! Great maze, and interesting buildings, houses and architecture! Worth taking the bus to go there!

This is a very beautiful park filled with interesting and unusual architectural constructions, a maze, a lake with black swans. It is however away from everything and you have to walk about 15 minutes from the station of the same name, to get there but very well worth it. Be forewarned that there is only one gate opened during Winter... More

It is a little bit far from the center but great to meditate, walk, and be at peace with yourself. The route is very beautiful. It is worth visiting!

Although the visitors of the park make my life more difficult by catching all parking spaces around, I have only good words to say about this park. Its name says everything! It's really special. It is private, you can visit free of charge but only during the weekend. From early in the morning until the sunset. Its spotlessly clean and... More

Quiet, extremely beautiful. You can't enter with food (for eating inside, I mean). Opened only on some hours, check it before, if you don't want a surprise. Some squirrels, birds, lakes and beautiful houses. Very very well maintenance.

I visited Parque El Capricho on a Saturday afternoon in November. The park is only open on weekends and holidays. No admission fee. You can't take any food, drinks, bikes, etc into the park. There are guards at the entrance to ensure this. This is a wonderful park to stroll through on a nice day. There are many paths that... More

Marie Antoniette was not the only one who wanted to have a fantasy garden , full of fake farms, lakes and fountains . In Madrid, the duchess of Osuna built her own , and it is one of city´s most beautiful green secrets. Autumn or Spring are great times to visit this place, not far from the city center .... More

It's a perfect place to go with your girlfriend/boyfriend to spend your sunday having a romantic walk. It's not so big, but it's amazing. It has different kinds of gardens: french, british...the lake, some little houses... It's also an historic place because it was created for the Duquesa de Osuna, with the purpose to have fun with her friends and... More
