If you're in the area, go ahead, full of people enjoying a relaxing time on the weekend, take a mat and sit on the grass for a few hours. awesome place!

Very nice, hidden little park. You may have to queue at peak times as its a well known secret! But rewarding walks and a lovely pagoda in the north make it worth the while.

Beautifully laid out and ordered gardens. Well worth a wander and a look. Gosh some of these old European cities do gardens well. These gardens are a prime example.

A small park with charming paths, beautiful trees and small corners to explore. A small Oasis perfect for a nice stroll. But don't plan on spending the day. No food, balls, bike, etc. allowed. It's designed for a nice walk and perhaps some quiet time to read a book. If you are looking for a more active park, visit el... More

Marvelous Romantic Sylvan retreat, you'll love it! But it's only open on Saturdays and Sundays. This enlightened City wisely controls access: there's no admission fee, but only 1000 visitors are allowed in (two guards at the front gate keep count) at a given time, and with so many secluded paths you can enjoy solitude, photography, etc. There are helpful signage... It is one of my favourite places in Madrid, because you can rarely find a quiet place in a busy european capital such as Madrid but this place does it. A quiet, peaceful, relaxing place, far for all the noise. I would just come here, read a book, take a walk, take some pictures and just enjoy the air and... More

I first heard about this park three years ago. I have never been there before and I found it amazing. I think the name is so appropriate, El Capricho. It´s really a park to go and disconnect.

Quite a small park and very out of the way - right at the end of a metro line - but worth it. It's worth noting you can't take food or drinks into the park: no picnics! But there's no entrance fee either, and there's a lot to see in such a small place - a tiny 'lake' with a... More

This park is not very famous but it is one of the most beautiful parks in Madrid. The gardens are very worked and the lake, and the buildings inside are extremely curious and nice. You have to visit it because its totally recommended. Be careful because it only opens during the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and bank holidays. The entrance... More
