Toledo is a beautiful city well worth a day trip or more. We took the Full Day Tour from Madrid. The office was chaotic in the morning; we almost missed the tour in the confusion. The guide was knowledgeable but was unwilling to let anyone stray even for a minute to shop. The lunch was awful; I would recommend NOT... More

Worst experience ever in any of my travels. From beginning to end lies. And then more lies. AVOID or be sorry.

My biggest complaint was that some of the waiting wasted a lot of time. I'll cut them a break as the were closed the day before due to the Coronation of Felipe so they had a glut of reservations to deal with. However, they could make sure they leave on time in the morning and at rest stops (said 10... More

This tour company will take you to Avila & Segovia. You won't have enough time to explore but this area doesn't need exploration. We got some facts about the places & thats it. All in all its Average..

We booked the day tour that takes you to Avila then Segovia. It was a rush all the way through. We did not have time to even buy a souvenir in Avila. You then have to walk half the town to get back on the bus. In Segovia we had to walk from the bus, then were told that we... More

Visited Toledo in May, 2014. All day trip was uneventful, filled with elementary school history version, erroneous description of historical invents and historical figures. Lunch set in a secondary, mass production restaurant set up for a bus delivered visitors (parking lot for busses only). Experience reminiscent of a highway stop restaurant serving popular version of 'Spanish' fast food. Trip ended... More

I always read Trip Advisor reviews before I plan anything. Should have followed that rule. Checked into our apartment and saw the ad and booked. Big mistake. Many other reviewers had the same monotone woman guide who read from a script, NEVER introduced herself, carried a flag , asked if there were any questions, or used a microphone. I had... More

We did the Avila and Segovia day tour. The towns themselves are wonderful and well worth visiting, I just wish we hadn't used Julia Travel to take us there. In Segovia our guide gathered us at a meeting point and gave very sloppy directions as to where the after lunch meeting point was. He took us only to the most... More

I was in the tour to Avila-Segovia (JULIÀ TRAVEL) the day when this lady from Philippines was. The guide was wonderful and her english was really good.Sometimes she had to speak in a very easy english, because not all the people were anglophones. Maybe "saint28daisy" couldn't understand a "british accent". The most part of regular tours offers english and spanish... More
