The trip should have been called a tour of the gift shop with a stopover in Toledo. The trip begins at 3pm but it takes an hour to get to Toledo. After a 15 minute pit stop at a service area/gift shop, you arrive at Toledo at 4:15. The tour of Toledo takes 1 hr 45 minutes and in some... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for posting a review on Tripadvisor. I was concerned to read your feedback and please accept my sincere apologise if our Toledo half day tour did not meet your expectations. In winter the opening hours of the sights visited on this tour are more reduced. Sometimes and depending on the size of the group, the usual... More

We booked the Valle de los Caidos and El Escorial half day tour via Viator web site, provided by Julia Travel. We arrived at the office at 825, 20 minutes before our scheduled departure. The office was crowded with other customers being December and it was cold outside. We were handed our tickets and asked to wait for the guide.... More

We booked 2 tours through the Viator website because we had taken Viators in other cities and were pleased. The first day our tour was to Avila and Segovia. We walked to the Plaza Espana from where we were staying, and became confused because the directions were not very clear. I called to ask for clarification and told the person... More

Excellent tour. Comfortable bus. Good guide. This was our Madrid highlight. The royal vaults and the valley of Fallen was amazing. I would highly recommend.

Toured all the main points of interest. Guide was good, but because of the group mix, had to repeat everything in English and Spanish. Our tour included a traditional Spanish lunch as well and was very good.

We booked a tour to Segovia and Avila with Viatour. They run this tour through Julia Travel. The tour guide, Amelia, was obviously not happy in her job. She had no enthusiasm, little knowledge and poor English. She was even confrontational with several travelers and very rude in her comments about them. With so many young people looking for jobs... Dear Madam, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I was concerned to read your comment about our guide’s behavior as guides are one of the most important part of our company image. I apologize for any inconvenience in this sense and will check what happened on this Avila & Segovia tour. Regarding the timing of the... More

I am a family of five with three children, ages 9, 8, and 2. I knew I wanted to visit Toledo, Segovia, and Avila during our trip to Madrid. I did my research, and learned that while doable, visiting these towns on your own requires a bit of effort…take the train here, then take the bus there…really not easy or... More

I pre booked a Madrid city tour which incorporated the Bernabaeu stadium tour as a gift for my boyfriend for his birthday. I booked this online from the UK. Dear Madam, Thank you for posting a review and give me your feedback. Our Madrid Sightseeing tour only pretends to be an approach to Madrid’s Highlights and an overview of all the city offers to the visitors. It also can be combined with other more focused visits like a guided tour to the Royal Palace, the Prado Museum or also... More
