My one friends must do was to see the Prado. Husbands were not thrilled that we were going to spend 2.5 hours there. The time went so quickly with Hernan! He told the story of Spanish history through the art displays. The husbands enjoyed it as much as we did. He is so knowledgeable of the art and Spanish history.... More

The Prado is a museum full of beautiful and enchanting paintings that will take weeks to fully absorb and appreciate. Based on other customer reviews, I booked with Madrid museum tours and had no regrets. As a first time visitor to the museum, I would have been overwhelmed with all the masterpieces on display. Mr. Satt was able lead us... More

Had the fortune of booking with both Irina and Hernan. I must say that they are both incredibly professional and have full knowledge of the subject matter. Hernan took us to both Toledo and Segovia and I am certain that visiting those places on our own would not have been the same. My teenagers were riveted by the museum tours... More

Hernan Satt led my wife and I through a very enjoyable and educational tour of the Prado, followed the next day by a great tour of the Royal Palace. Hernan is a former history professor who specialized in the artists represented by many of the masterpieces in the Prado. He impressed us with the background stories and advances that the... More

While not absolutely necessary to hire a private guide to visit the Prado, the right guide can lead you on a deeply enriching excursion into the history of Spanish painting – from Brueghel to Renaissance masters to modern icons. We found that perfect guide: Irina from Madrid Museum Tours. Personable, funny, but above all knowledgeable, Irina [with a graduate degree... More

We met a very chipper and enthusiastic Irina under the Goya statue for a New Year's Eve Family tour of the Prado. We knew that with limited time in Madrid, including losing regular museum closing days, New Year's Day when no institutions are open, and a shortened day on New Year's Day, that we needed a tour guide to direct... We visit often Madrid in order our children enjoy its museums and attractions. This time we chose Private Tours in English of Madrid Museum Tours directed especially to our bilingual children. It was a great Tour . Our guide kept the kids and us interested. We realized things that we would have never found out by ourselves. All in all,... More

I just recommended Hernan to a friend who will traveling to Madrid in January. I just looked at our pictures and had to write about Hernan for his wonderfulness! When we were in Spain a while ago (3 years), my wife hurt her leg and was unable to walk much (actually hairline fracture). Hernan presented us with a 2 day... More

Madrid Museum Tours, directed by Hernan A. Satt gave us the best experience in Madrid a visitor could ever want. Hernan's knowledge and insightful descriptions brought today's Madrid and it's history to us with great clarity. We travel extensively and Hernan is the best guide we have experienced.

Just returned home from a visit to Madrid and Barcelona. Highlight of our trip were the private tours in Madrid of Prado, Reina Sofia, Archaeological Museum and Royal Palace, conducted by Madrid Museum Tours. Our guides were outstanding and knowledgeable. The price was fair and a good value. Irina and Hernan made the visit special. I highly recommend this group.
