This is not a Viator Tour. Reserve direct with www.madridmuseumtours.com or email Hernan Amaya Salt(Owner) at info@madrid museumtours.com. We were a party of four (two couples)and this six hour tour of Madrid is not your typical tour of Madrid, because in addition to seeing all the normal tourist sites in Madrid (downtown), Hernan's tour also took us to sites that... He was a delight. It was a free walking tour and Sebastian was outstanding. He knew the city's history and Spain in general. I would highly recommend the free tours and if you enjoy the walking tour, tip your tour guide liberally.

Irena was a informative, lively and pleasant guide for the Mysteries of the Prado tour. Initially we were disappointed because everyone was raving about another guide, but she was wonderful. She always made a point to check in with us to ascertain what we were most interested in. She seemed to enjoy her job which is always a big plus... More

We did two tours with Mr. Satt while visiting Madrid and highly recommend anyone planning a visit to spend some time with Mr. Satt as he is a true gentleman and very knowledgable about the subject matter, whether it was the city itself, the Royal Palace, the Prado or the town of Toledo. He also served as official photographer both... More

After reading reviews I decided to go for this company. I sent an email a month and a half before my trip and I got a pushy answer about booking" immediately" otherwise... I took a couple more days as I was busy with work and around 2-3 days later sent another email to book the "history of Spain" tour. I... More

The lecture ‘between the lines’ of Olga’s review shows that: 1 Olgaroco wrote us inquiring about one of our private Prado museum tours . 2nd. Olgaroco received a pre-confirmation with a short dateline in which we explained her that we could save her reservation for a very limited time only (1 day) because we were almost completely booked for the... My wife and I met Mr. Hernan Satt at the entrance of the Prado Museum on what turned out to be a fabulous 8 hour tour of the various museums and of the city core. I must say this was one of the highlights of our 16 days in Spain. Mr. Satt not only tailored the tour to our needs... More

After reviewing several Madrid Trip Advisor suggestions I chose the above for a private tour for three. Irina conducted the tour. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and gave unique insights into the art works. I don't think a layperson like me should visit an art museum without a guide as its well worth the expense.

An experience to be remembered for a lifetime. Took day tour of Prado and then to Toledo. Hernan Satt was a former art history professor in Madrid – before he founded Private Madrid Museum Tours in late 1990’s. Agree completely with the any wonderful reviews of Hernan on Trip Advisor. His in-depth knowledge of art and the history of art... More

Mr. Hernan Satt is an amazing story teller. You are hanging on every word he says. There was 15 of us and we had hernan on 3 different days for 3 different museums. He held the attention of each and everyone of us. After our first encounter. We were so glad to know we would have him again in the... More
