We meet a very friendly guide, Ismael in the square for our walking Tapas and wine tour. Small intimate group enabled us to get to know each other and the very knowledgeable Ismael. We went to Tapas bars that we would never have found on our own. Tour was well organised and ran smoothly with food and drink available upon... More

We went on the Madrid wineries tour in the last week of July 2015 and it exceeded our expectations. We were a small group and our super guide Ismael took us with a minivan not only to wineries but we also had a great opportunity to take a look at other interesting places outside Madrid city. First we went to... More

I booked this and thought this was going to be a very touristy thing--it was, but they took us to some very out of the tapa spots that served interesting wines and unusual tapas. Also, our guide Ishmal, was congenial & informative about all the different sites in puerta de sol.

As a food and wine blogger (Breadnbottle.com), I was determined to tour one of the wine regions of Spain during our "girls' getaway" this past spring. The best way to get to the Ribera del Duero wine country from Madrid, where we were staying, is to use a tour service. And the most accommodating, friendly and well-organized tour service that... We recently returned from Madrid and the Tapas and Wine Tour in the evening was the highlight of our City Break. We met some wonderful people, we were on an all American tour with us being the only two British and we wouldn't of had it any other way! We would never have met these llovely people (we felt like... We went on this wine tour last month and we had an awesome time. We visited three wineries and tasting the wine makers were informative and answered all our questions. Each winery has its own process and wines were very good. Ismael (our tour guide)was very nice and attentive he too made the tour a pleasant experience always giving us... More

On the first day of our arrival in Madrid we were fortunate to have booked the Tapas and Wines tour by Gourmet Madrid. This was a small group walking tour to several tapas establishments in Old Madrid. Our guide Jaime told us about the history of tapas, as well as Old Madrid. However, the best part was the tasting of... More

A day touring vineyards near Madrid with a knowledgeable guide was a great way to finish our Spanish holiday. Our small group were picked near Atocha station and whisked out of the city in an air-conditioned bus. We were given a history lesson on route to our first port of call. As we were touring modestly sized wine producers we... More
