Not your California tour, modern and stainless steel. Think much much older. It was a very interesting and entertaining tour of three small wineries. One new and two, very old. The guide was excellent, and the spokes persons for the wineries were entertaining talking about their businesses. It gave you a feel for the family run winery. We stopped for... More

We had pre-booked this tour before arriving in Madrid and chose it as hopefully an ideal way of getting to know the city by night (you would walk past 90% of these places during daylight!!) and learning about the food culture and history of it. We were not disappointed. A small group of three couples (Same group as Wendy B)... More

madrid can bedazzle you with its stunning architecture, historical monuments & exquisite museums. but, i believe that i may have stumbled upon the true charm of madrid during an unassuming tapas tour... and it is not found in the obvious rather in the subtle fabric of the daily lives of its people... such was 'ir de tapas' which should only... We really enjoyed our tour last night with Ismael. We were 3 couples from Scotland, Canada and USA who had fun and learned a lot about Madrid while enjoying great wine and tapas in great places. It was a great night with a great guide and fun people.

6 of us decided to do the walking wine and tapas tour for something to do on the first evening in Madrid. All I can say is WOW! Our guide, Ismael was the best guide EVER, he knows so much about the history of Madrid, food, and wine. I learned more during the eating and drinking than at any museum.... More

This tour was great, taking you to three wineries and finishes with an awesome lunch. The wineries are all very different which provides nice perspective. Our tour guide, Jaime, was informative and friendly. We toured with a total of 13 people for the day which was a great group size. Highly recommended for a day trip to the wine region... More

Great experience to 3 different wineries where we learned about the history and met the owners. Lunch was decent but at the end of the day. I would have liked to have lunch prior to the last vineyard and preferred to order off menu.

I initially booked the madrid wine tour and was completely blown away by how incredible It was. We visited three wineries and tasted multiple wines at each winery. Everyone was so knowledgable and passionate. My guide Jaime, knew so much about wine and the area and really cared about our experience. At the end of the tour we had a... More

I booked this event based on two things: 1.the agenda and 2. because the ratings were very high. I was concerned originally because I wondered if I would get my monies worth. We certainly got our monies worth and well beyond. My husband is a serious wine collector, I hoped that the wine pairing would really be meaningful. It was!... More
