We were thrilled to visit these 3 small vineyards during harvest season, we learned and experienced so much! Our guide Ismael also had a wonderful suggestion for a tasting lunch that was quite enjoyable. And best of all he talked to the cafe for us and made sure my husband's meal was gluten free. I would highly recommend this tour.

I would highly recommend this tour while in Madrid. We had so much fun, and had more food and wine than we could possibly finish. Ismael was our tour guide, and he was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable of the city and shared so many fun facts and trivia information with us throughout the tour. He has a great personality... More

Our wonderful friends organized a private tapas and wine tour for us in Madrid as our wedding gift. It was the most perfect way to spend our first night in Spain! Ismael met us at our hotel and guided us through the neighborhoods helping us learn our way and telling us the fascinating history of the plazas and where we... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! All 3 wineries were fantastic and Ismael was a great tour guide. I was hoping that we would have a chance to see the vines also and learn a little about them but aside from that I'm very happy I joined and would recommend it to anyone.

Jaime, of "Gourmet Madrid", organised a really wonderful evening for our small group. Close to the Plaza Mayor he took us to a discrete underground cellar below a well known restaurant where we sat and tasted a selection of remarkable wines. His knowledge of wines is quite incredible and he offered a unique insight into these wines and other wines... More

On July 28, 2014, 8 of us had the pleasure of taking a Wine & Tapas Tour in Madrid, Spain with Ismael as our guide. This walking tour provided us the opportunity to sample food and wine where the Locals eat and drink. Ismael, with Gourmet Madrid, was extremely knowledgeable about local customs, food, and especially wine. His passion for... More

Thank you for your comments. If you do the Historical tour you have pretty good chances of meeting Ismael as the guide. He host most of the tours. Otherwise you have pretty good chances of finding me. And while I finish these lines we are getting ready to have lunch at the bars where our Creative Tapas tour takes place,... More

We booked this tour for guests that were in town and decided to join them. We had a wonderful time! Ismael was a fantastic tour guide. It was a history, wine tasting, scenic tour rolled into one. We went to 3 wineries and enjoyed a delicious tasting of several (generous portions) of tapas (not included in the tour price, but... More

Great day visiting 3 wineries local to Madrid. The tour guide Ismael was excellent providing lots of useful information with a good sense of humour. Great wines with welcoming hosts. Worth every euro cent.

We visited three vineyards with Ismael as the tour guide. We had a great time because we learned a lot, we had fun and enjoyed each wine. I recommend this tour to everyone that visits Madrid.

Hello. We are glad you liked the experience and all the wines (and there were ten of them between whites and reds!) Considering how many people are coming from Puerto Rico this year, the local grape Malvar has to be buzzing already back at your country. We hope to see you again. First of all, I want to say thank you to the driver and Mr. Ismael from the wine tour. I am wheelchair user and it is first time i joined half day tour. We had visited three wineries on 11 July 2014, just one of the cave of winery i couldn't reach. But I am satisfied still and enjoyed as... More

Hello, Thank you very much for your comments, they are very important for us. Only the cave was not accesible for wheelchairs but that is because it is over 600 years old. Despite the cave that winery it is a must visit in Madrid wine region since they still ferment the wine in clay vats older than 100 years. Best... More
