I have made two trip to Ribero del Deuro with Vintage Spain and both while totally different were really exceptional. We most enjoyed visting some of the smaller fmily run bodega, the owners are so gracious and proud to show you whta they do to produce the great wines they grow. Our guide Carlos was very knowledgable and a pleasure... More

Cristina Alonso of Vintage Spain is very knowledgable about Rioja and Ribera del Duero. She comes from the area. We spent 8 days touring the regions with her. She herself is a Wine Connoisseur, so a pleasure to go wine touring with. She has excellent entres to the best Bodegas in the regions. She is also great FUN. It wasn't... More

We used Vintage Spain to organise a 'semi-guided' tour of Rioja and Ribero Del Deuro ending in Madrid. Their advice was excellent, the organisation like clockwork and nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. We would thoroughly recommend their services. More

My wife and I have recently returned from our trip to Spain and Portugal. We decided to do a short wine tour just north of Madrid and found Vintage Spain online from home to try and set something up. I usually do not write comments on pages like these however, this company and their tour was exceptional. We went with... More

This was an amazing experience. My wife got to see 6 distinctively different ways of making Spanish wine, tasted some outstanding food, and learned a ton about the Rioja and Riberia districts. If you are a wine lover, this is a must-do when visiting Spain, and I can't imagine anyone doing a better a job than Vintage Spain. More

Thanks to Vintage Spain, my husband and I had the time of our lives in the La Rioja wine region! With only 2 weeks to prepare, Cristina and Sonia put together a fabulous 36 hr trip that surpassed all of our expectations for a great wine trip. Our guide, Judith, was phenomenal. A local of the area she not only... More

Excellent tour. We planned a private 1 day tour to Penedes. They were excellent to assist in planning the trip, helpful information on customizing our trip and wineries selection based on our experience. Sonia was our expert in the office and really assisted and spent time to asssit in meeting our interests and making sure we had a great time.... More

We made last minute arrangements to visit three wineries in Rinero Del Deuro, Jaime did a great job of making the arrangements and Carlos did a fantastic job of transporting, translating and keeping us entertained. Overall they went well above what could be expected. More

I've taken a lot of wine tours. Most are big bus loads of people being herded in and out of commercial tasting rooms. Not this tour. We were delighted with the wineries we visited that were definitely "off the beaten path." Each winery provided a unique opportunity to view the "behind the scenes" activities you usually only see with a... More

My wife had a brief visit in the Priorat with Cristina's help. I cannot say enough about it. We stayed of the top floor of the Hotel Sport, ate a wonderful meal at Irreductibles and toured some of the regions best wineries. Our guide Rachel was extremely helpful, knew the winery owners and provided us with information about the history... More
