Bravo Bike now enters its 15th successful year in providing high quality Madrid City cycling tours with E.BIKES as well as regular bikes. Our range covers our most popular classic and private 3 1/2 hour sightseeing tours as well as our Casa de Campo (nature) and our Full Day City Tour (incorporating the Soccer stadiums). Further afield, we are professionals at organizing one-day excursions to the outlying cities such as Segovia, El Escorial, Avila, Aranjuez and Toledo. For those with more time to spend discovering all that is fabulous in Spain, we have multi-day guided and self-guided cycling tours along the Camino de Santiago Pilgrim's Trail, and in the regions around Madrid as well as through Spain's wine regions and along other historic and regional trails. Bravo Bike is a fully licensed Madrid-based travel agency.

I was a bit underwhelmed by Madrid my first day there, but we did the Bravo bike tour with Sebastian on the 2nd day and it completely transformed my opinion of the city! It's a fantastic way to see the city because you can cover so much more than during a walking tour and you actually feel less tired. Booking... More

We chose the extended tour and enjoyed discovering more of Madrid by bike. Sebastian took great care of us and captured pictures along the way for us to enjoy after. They also do planned self guided hiking trips outside the city which I wish we could have done, as well. Next time! Thank you, Sebastian!

There is no better way to explore a city than doing it with a bike tour. We always take bike tours, with our arrival to a city vacation, but if you visit Madrid, we highly recommend you will see it with Sebastien Lalmand - he is beyond amazing!!! and I don't think we would've come anywhere close to loving Madrid... My friends and I had a great time on this tour! We were able to see pretty much everything there is to see in Madrid in about 3 hours. Our tour guide Sebastian was awesome and kept a really good pace for everyone. This is a tour that anyone can do and the route is really easy with very little... More

My best friend and I were only in Madrid for a couple of nights and we had booked the tour through expedia before we left. It was a morning tour and as it happened it was only us on the tour. We chatted to Sebastian about where we had already visited and what we were interested in and he was... More

Thanks very much for your kind review and recommendation. Even though we recommend clients take the tour as soon as practicable after their arrival in Madrid, we know that this is not always possible. So yes, in these circumstances our guides will do their best to adjust the tour to make the itinerary complimentary to what they have already visited.... More

My Daughter and I decided to do a bike tour instead of a walking tour and signed up with Bravo . We were so happy with the results. Even though it was a cold February day , Sebastian made it worth while . He was warm and funny . we enjoyed his stories and how he interacted with people along... More

Thanks for your review and recommendation. We are so pleased that the warmth of our guide’s personality and commentary compensated for the cold temperatures of the day. Madrid is one of the few European capitals where the weather in February actually allows you to do a bike tour. Glad you like the photos. Please consider returning to Madrid and doing... More

A friend and I took a Bravo bike tour round Madrid. PROs - very professional service, from booking onwards - excellent tour guide. Knowledgeable, professional, humorous and looked after the group very well - nicely paced tour - we stopped for a coffee half-way - I suffered a puncture soon after we'd set off. Within 5 minutes someone from Bravo... More

Many thanks for your review and constructive evaluation. We regret that you encountered technical problems with our bikes. Punctures we can do little about (in Madrid you just have to look carefully where you are cycling, particularly in the traffic-free zones). As regards the bike with the “wonky wheel”, it is our standard practice to select bikes according to each... More

We arrived on a chilly morning for our bike tour, and it ended up being just the two of us on the tour. Sebastien provided gloves for us to ensure we were warm and we headed out to tour the city. It was informative and fun, and while we covered a lot of the city we never felt tired or... More

You are most welcome: we are delighted you enjoyed the tour so much. Indeed, Madrid is one of Europe’s capital cities where the weather is good enough in January for you to be able to do a biking tour. And even if the temperatures are a bit on the chilly side, you still have a lot of fun. Do come... More

We found the tours in Trip Advisor and that day before we called at 10:00 PM to a mobile (Kaspar´s) and we booked the tour. We are delighted that our private city tour met with your expectations. We do work hard to cater for many folks’ different interests, and indeed, our tandem is a great asset, and just perfect for the situation you found yourself in. Do come and visit us again soon: we would love to show you around a bit outside of Madrid.... More

Staying in Arguelles

Neighborhood Profile
Arguelles
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
