A tour with Bravo bike is strongly recommended for anyone wanting to see Madrid and hear about the city's history. We were nine high school teachers from Denmark who had the pleasure of Sebastian as a guide for half a day, and we must say that we got a special designed tour that everyone in the group was very happy... I came across Bravo bike tours along with a number of different alternatives on the web before my travel to Madrid. I wrote to nearly all of them asking for rentals and I have to say Bravo was the first one to respond. The amount of information they shared, careful planning and attention to detail was amazing. I have never... More

The bike tour was fabulous. Our bikes were ready when we got to the shop. We left promptly at 10. We got a very good feeling for the city and it was a wonderful way for me, my wife and three 20 year olds to spend time touring. Our guide Sebastian was terrific. Highly recommend this tour!

Our grown up family just went on a Bravo bike tour one Sunday morning. It really was great fun, quite informative and the best part of our weekend in Madrid. Kasper might appear a bit serious but he is in fact very amusing and very knowledgeable about Madrid. Its amazing the things you can pick up from a personal tour... More

We are delighted you enjoyed our tour and thanks for your kind commentary. Indeed most clients try to take the tour at the beginning of their stay in Madrid, so they can return to visit and explore in greater detail those sights which are of particular interest. We try our best to make the trip amusing with humorous and knowledgeable... More

This was a highlight of our time in Madrid. The bikes were comfy with lots of stops so your bottom does not get sore. ;) The tour guide was very knowledgeable and really nice. We saw so much of the city we would never have seen walking. Highly recommend!

We love to spend our first day in a new city exploring by bike to get a feel for the area. Sebastian was an awesome tour guide, introducing us to the many neighborhoods of Madrid.

We are so pleased you enjoyed yourselves and found the tour an agreeable way of getting to know Madrid for the first time. Indeed you can accomplish a lot more on a bike than if you’re doing a walking tour or a tourist bus circuit. Please come and see us again. With best regards The Bravo Bike Team More

We were in Madrid just for 4 days and, as we've done in other Eurpoean cities, wanted to explore the streets and sights of Madrid by bike with an informative and knowledgable local. Well we hit lucky with Sebastian from Bravo bike tours, especially as the bikes were comfortable and in good condition, unlike some city bike tours we've experienced.... More

Thanks for your glowing and detailed review as well as your recommendation. It is gratifying to know that Bravo Bike compares well with providers in other European cities where you have done bike tours. Staying in Arguelles

Neighborhood Profile
Arguelles
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
