The guided tour to this cellar takes you into the details of one of this ancient and well preserved cellar that gives much importance to the wood in the wine producing process. Fully recommended.
They have a broad catalogue of activities related with wine: even the visit to the vineyards on a balloon!

Bodegas Muga is located in the town of Haro, Las Rioja, Spain. Issacsin Muga and his family hold to the old traditions in Riojan winemaking. They have a wonderful selection of wines and a lovely winery that is worth a visit. Fortunately, the wines are fairly available in the US.

We visited the bodega, watching the barrel maker and master cooper doing their wizardry (All the barrels are wooden; no stainless steel. This is a traditional wine maker, with all homemade oak casks.)
