I love a good cemetery, and this was no exception. Ancient graves, well marked, will give you a sense of the history of Gibraltar

We wandered through this small cemetery that is tucked away right next to the city wall. It's historic, with some touching tombstones with interesting stories. One stone includes a cannonball and it is a memorial to two young men who were killed in battle as a result of one cannonball hit. There are some nice plantings around the cemetery as... More

Here lie the remains of soldiers who died at Nelsons 1805 battle, in quiet little garden that is well maintained.

This was very interesting and very poignant. Apparently here lay the remains of servicemen from 4 battles including just a couple from Trafalgar. Very well worth a visit.

This is a very pretty cemetery, sounds odd but it is in a beautiful setting. It is very small, mainly due to the fact that the majority of sailors killed in the Battle of Trafalgar were buried at sea so it was only the men that died of injuries after returning are buried there. The day we visited they were... More

Not only a place of historical importance, but also a site for a quiet walk. Nicely composed into the inside fortress of the city. A lot of information about the battle of Trafalgar is presented there. Definitely worth seeing, won't take you more than 20 mins.

This is a charming location and has many interesting historical facts to show. Worth a short visit as you are probably walking past it anyway, and is a remembrance of a time long past.

Worth the walk to visit this interesting cemetery. Take time to read the inscriptions on the gravestones, some unusual occurrences to consider away from the bustle of Main Street
