Dates back to Nelson's time. So many old graves to wonder round to look at. Reminder of sacrifices made. Is located at the end of Main Street on way to the cable car.

Quiet and peaceful place of rest for the sailors of the Battle of Trafalgar. Newly refurbished and a lovely place for reflection. A venue to get away from the hubbub of Main Street.

Whilst walking to the Cable Car terminal building we crossed the road by Nelson's statue and stumbled by chance upon the Trafalgar Cemetery and I am glad we did as it was a fascinating historic find. There are just two sailors who died from their wounds on the HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar and whose bodies ended up... More

A mini history lesson for my Grandson who is of dual nationality. He is proud of his part British heritage and although only 5 has some understanding of the sacrifices made by those who came before him. Can't help wondering though with all what's happening in the world right now if all their efforts are truly appreciated. Having just seen... More

Definitely worth visiting, to see beautiful old graves dating back to the time of the battle of Trafalgar. Fascinating.

This cemetery dates back - as the name suggests - to the earlies British associations with the Rock. Despite being at a busy road junction near the southern city gate and around the corner from the cable car station, almost as soon as you step in through the gate the place becomes quieter. It used to be badly over-grown, but... More

A very small cemetrey, sadly in need of some TLC. Considering the historical value it is such a shame it is not better looked after and in need of display information boards to highlight those buried there and about the Battlefof Trafalgar. Many of the graves are unreadable, but still the historical feeling abounds. Quiet and small, but still very... More

I felt the same emotions that I felt when visiting the first world war and second world war cemeteries in Europe, realising that if these young men had not sacrificed what they did. British people may well have been speaking Spanish and eating frogs legs. Most were only out of boyhood and called to defend England from the might of... More

The site is small but worth a visit as it shows the respect for the sacrifices made by those in the past
