Interesting place to visit. Many of the headstones are worn but there are plaques on the wall referring to those interred. Historically important place relating to the Battle of Trafalgar

A somber place worth the visit for historical reasons especially if your family have trafalgar connections. Oddly a calm relaxing and well maintained oasis in a busy city

We recently visited Trafalgar cemetary, its only a small cemetary, situated at the end of Main Street, just inside the city walls, with tombstones dating back to Nelsons days. Tombstones make very interesting reading, some so very young. There is no charge to visit, but they are doing renovations. There were a few young barbary apes playing at the back... More

The tombstones give a good insight into the number of deaths from plagues and from th pe battle of trafalgar. Watch out forr the apes who roam about this area looking for food. Don't feed them and if they come towards you make a loud noise.

We had been out for an evening meal within a month of moving to live in Gibraltar. We had walked past the cemetery many times, but on this occasion we saw that the gate was open so walked in. It is a very beautiful, peaceful place just outside the old city walls of Gibraltar. As others reviewers have said, you... More

A small cemetery tucked away at the end of Main Street. Lovely and quiet to wonder round. The graves are quite old within the cemetery. You can stay as long as you wish to either wonder round the cemetery or sit and contemplate for a few minutes

This small triangular cemetery in a quiet corner of Gibraltar is home to the graves of the seamen who, having survived Trafalgar, later died of their injuries. If you died in the battle you were buried at sea (except Nelson of course). If you like wandering round cemeteries this is definitely one for you, it is full of history. Certainly... More

Well worth the walk to the very end of Main Street this cemetery is very quiet and tranquil. Reading the gravestones really makes you think of the sacrifices made at Trafalgar and other battles/sieges in and around Gibraltar. There is an incredible history of conflict in this area and this is a lovely peacfull place to take your time to... More

This is a nice place to stroll around and to read the epitaph's on some of the headstones and to escape to the shade. Unfortunately a lot of the stones are unreadable, but the ones that are evokes images of what these men endured at Trafalgar.
