There are loads of British stores, but not duty free as you imagine. Probably not as interesting to holiday makers coming from UK but as residents in Spain, we loved it.

Excellent experience, you can shop all day long and never be bored from the lovely perfume shops, to the never ending tax free drinks and the beautiful jewellers shops, diamonds are a girl's best friend and you won't be disappointed in Main Street

No character at all . Resembles many pedestrianised high streets that you would find in England with the same shops . Spirits and tobacco cheap but expect to be served by unfriendly lazy staff in 90% of the shops.

If you're travelling back into Spain don't buy more tobacco and booze than you're allowance or you'll fall foul of Spanish customs. Some very interesting shops on Main Street and older buildings

Main Street is an attractive and long street with a good variety of shops. There are some places that could do with smartening, but that's true of many of Britain's shopping streets. First day and we were in M&S buying shorts. Reassuring to have some of the shops that we knew what to expect.

Main street was good but it is just like being back home in Britain same shops and a lot of building work going on.

Wandering round is easy as thisusnowpedestrianiaed. No traffic but busy with folk. It feels like you are on a high street back home with the M&S etc etc. There are some bargains to be had and everyone speaks English. You can easily miss the architecture if you're not careful ( which needs noting). There care also some overpriced items but... More

The main street could be anywhere in a UK scummy town. it was dirty with chewing gum stains on the pedestrian area and just felt overall grubby - what a disappointment :-( shops were either tobacconists, booze shops or jewellery. but hey, Bombay Sapphire is on £8.50 a litre!

Having visited Gibraltar many, many, times, we know Main Street very well. As it is a British outpost, it obviously has the advantage of English being the main language. It is definitely very multi cultural however. You will spot M and S, BHS, Bonmarche, Body Shop, Mothercare, Evans, Top Shop...to name a few of the well known high street chain... More

You cannot visit Gibraltar and not take advantage of the shopping in Main Street.Cheaper than the airport duty frees by far.The area is easily accessible to all as it is flat and most of the shops are in this one street. Perfume and alcohol is greatly reduced but there are lots of British high street shops too. There are plenty of... More
