we went to gibralter on a day excursion from the costa del sol. on arrival the first thing you see is the famous rock. we went into main street, and it was heaving with people,but was able to find plenty of places to eat, the shops are great, and also duty free, so you can bag many a bargain. you... more

As the other reviews indicate, you're probably not going to find any "deals" shopping here. Then again, it's just like shopping in any vacation destination - prices will likely be higher than the discount shops and sale prices back home. If you're coming here only for shoping, you will likely be disappointed. With that said, it's delightfully fun and well... more

Main street is like your walking through the streets of London. You will have your usual police officers and the red telephone boxes everywhere! You will find your common shops, Marks and Spencers, Topshop, H&M and many more. There are a lot of food places; they had restaurants and cafes, McDonalds, Pizza Hut the lot! Gibraltar is supposed to be 'Duty Free' - make sure you check prices at home as you will almost certainly be able to buy cheaper before you go, or in my case after I came back. Main Street should be re named ' The Street of a thousand thieves' I've been to Gib a number of times and it has... more
