Did the shortest bit of the Camino from Sarria to Santiago. First thing to remember if you're going to have a go is that a reasonable level of fitness is needed as there are regular tough climbs and descents to make. Camino Ways organized the whole thing very well, luggage transfers went without a hitch. Some of the hotels are... More

Luggage Transfer- excellent without any problems Quality of Hotels- As advertised ranged from 2 to 4 star- the one exception was the La Rocca in Assisi- a high end 1 star- also had issue with the reception... Dear Kimberley, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We would like to clarify a couple of points: Our package includes hotel accommodation, luggage transfers and meals. When a trip is booked through a travel agent, it is the responsibility of the agent to advice or arrange public transport or private transfers to the starting point. This is particularly... More

CaminoWays in Dublin organised the walk, accommodation and transfer of luggage. The route notes were good and correct, the accommodation on the farms exceptional and our luggage waiting for us at the end of each day's walk. The only negative was walking from Estacion Lalin to Lalin town next to a very busy road. We decided to take a taxi... More

I went as a solo traveler on this trip from Sarria to Santiago and it was a great experience. The guide was really knowledgeable and really went out of her way to help people. The hotels were typical 3 stars European hotels. Breakfast and dinner were included and the food was amazing! They were able to accommodate my gluten free... More

I recently returned from completing the last 100 km (although the distance is actually 100 miles!) on Caminoways Guided tour of Santiago de Compostela. Everything went so smoothly I could hardly believe it. Our guide, Chus, was FABULOUS - well organized, informative, funny and upbeat. Both the hotels and the food were way better than I anticipated. I will definitely... More

I recently completed over 100k of the Camino to Santiago. I contacted Camino Ways in Dublin as they had been recommended to me by a family member. The staff were extremely helpful when planning & booking our trip & took care of everything to suit our needs including airport transfers, clean & comfortable accommodation along the route, luggage transfers & even... We had a great time on the Camino, largely thanks to the streamlined organising by Camino Ways. They were incredibly helpful before the holiday - advising on route and where to stay - easy to contact and always pleased to hear from us. They picked us up from the airport, took us to our first hotel and from then on... More

Poor maps - read like a bad translation from Spanish to English. We, as well as other CW travelers were misguided more than once. Didn't receive a guidebook. Had to print their 40+ page PDF map/voucher file. Was inconvenient to constantly flip through 8.5 x 11 sheets, and when they got wet, the ink ran and the sheets curled. Wound... More

As a couple in our seveties, this was an ideal way to experience the Camino. The length of the walk, the country thtough which we traveled and the convenience of the arrangements are ideal. Every thing worked perfectly - luggage delivered to next hotel on time, all accomodation as described, maps and directions good. Even gave us an excellent guide... More
