Walking the Camino is insperational and a journey to savor. The experience leaves wonderful memories. One surprise was that the walk had more hills than I had anticipated. However, take the journey if you can and are able. I made my reservations through the Camino Way. Richard especially was very responsive and always answered my emails and gave good directions.... My friend and I booked with Camino Ways to walk from Sarria to Santiago and we received an excellent service in a quiet efficient way as we choose not to have a guide. There were confusing messages on trip advisor about buses from Santiago airport to Sarria but Richard at Camino Ways advised me how/where to get the bus and... More

My husband & I went on the Camino Way this year in May 2014, organised by Camino Way, Half board & luggage transfer plus hotels. We just had a great time from start to finish, hotels were much better than we had expected, food was good in most places, luggage was alway there when we got to our hotel in... More

Just back from our Camino from León to Santiago. I have to say I had a brilliant experience in spite of this company. We had booked with Camino Ways as they seemed to have a really good reputation and we just wanted the whole organisational side of things handled by a so-called expert. There was also the reassurance of assistance... More

My husband and I with four good friends walked the Camino Portuguese Way from Tui to Santiago in May 2014. It was a most incredible journey and would highly recommend this scenic route. But I could not recommend the company "Camino Ways" who handled our organization and luggage. We seemed to be jinxed right from the start. I believe that... More

I used Camino Ways in May 2013 to do the final 100kms from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. It was a guided tour, half board, luggage transfers etc. I found the company to be excellent to deal with and the most reasonably priced too. Our tour guide Carlos was brilliant so enthusiastic and he really couldn't do enough for us!... More

our trip, organized by camino ways, was excellent! we decided to try our camino by bicycle instead of walking in order to cover a greater distance (three times the distance of the walkers on a six day trip). this enabled us to see a lot more. camino ways handled everything so well, the hotels were mostly great and I'd rate... Just back from Santiago with this company. As this was our first walk- from Sarria to Santiago- we had opted for the " guided tour".While the walk was wonderful , the hotels , like a previous reviewer said- were average- some good some bad which was not unexpected. I do however wish to express my annoyance with this company in... More
