Walking the Camino was a challenge and a great experience. The booking and management of the booking process was excellent, almost everything has worked out as planned. Where it hasn't, CaminoWays has tried to remedy the situation. As we were unable to arrange for our departure package to be posted, it was left at the hotel in Porto for us... More

Everything about my trip from Sarria to Santiago looked fine on paper. All the documents etc arrived on time, all the details were there. BUT because our flight was delayed from the UK the contingency plans were sadly amateur. We had paid in advance for a taxi to meet us, as we would be late for the bus transfer...and even... More

We used Camino Ways to book our short trip from Sarria to Santiago last July. We were to arrive in Santiago on the eve of the feast day of St. James and knew finding rooms may be difficult. Although the luggage transfer each day was nice, we felt constantly picked on by other pilgrims that said we were walking "Camino... More

My husband and two other couples, form our neighborhood decided to have an adventure together and this tour company, would fill the bill for us, (reasonable price, take our luggage, the hotels and bk plus dinner would be provided, what more could we need). All we had to do was walk, ha ha, (we also did the short version, form... More

Six of us set out to walk a small portion of the Camino, organized by Camino Ways, a company that operates out of Dublin, Ireland. Apart from a couple of glitches, mainly because the person doing our booking wasn't/isn't a "detail" person, I cannot say enough positive things about this company. Each morning we left our bags in the hotel... More

Walked 380 Klms from Leon to Santiago. We chose to go with a travel company that booked our hotels each night so we had no choice but to get to the destination each day. August is far too hot and busy. From Leon to Astorga was beside a busy highway for the day and a half. Very noisy and the... More

We travelled again with Camino Ways for part 2 of our journey to Santiago. In 2012 we walked from St Jean to Burgos. This year we went back to Burgos and walked as far as Ponferrada. Camino Ways did a fantastic job of organizing the trip for us. They listened to what we wanted and made it happen. We split... More

After walking the route from AulIa to Siena I would advise against booking with this company if you are considering walking all or part of the Francingena Way. Here are my reasons: There is insufficient information on the web site to enable you to make an informed decision about whether or not to take the tour. In particular there is... More

Back a few weeks from a guided group walk from Sarria to Santiago. A great group of walkers, fantastic weather, beautiful scenery and excellent organisation by Camino Ways resulted in a perfect week. Having a day to check out the sights of Santiago including the food market on Saturday morning was an added bonus. Looking forward to returning next year.

We walked from Sarria to Santiago in 5 days. As seasoned hikers, we found the Camino a unique experience, we were part of a larger community walking as we were. Camino Ways was responsive to questions we had in advance of the trip. We found the Camino trip to be easily doable for 2 seniors in shape. The maps and... More
