We took this excursion as it had been recommended by the hotel, (thanks Begonia). Martin was an excellent tour guide keeping us informed of our progress, and talking about each of the features with a passion. The day passed quickly, and as we were the only two on board we were allowed to linger at the places that we found... More

During our short stay in Santiago we decided to see some more of the area and our hotel recommended this tour company. We booked the day before and were told that as there were only two of us the cost would be €55 each. We were collected from the hotel by a very polite guide (Martin I think) and we... More

Had a great two days in the capable hands of Enrique. Affable, courteous and friendly. Fantastic insight into the land and people. And 'mighty craic' as well - laughed a lot and had great fun. Totally recommendable.

I had the pooortunity to spend one extra day after my job vitit to Santiago and I asked the hotel for a suggestion on what to do? They came up with the idea of this trip and it was realy one of the best days in my life. We arrived at Finestererri and by chance there were an Italian preist... More

I'm not a fan of group tours but after 10 days of driving ourselves around Northern Spain, we decided to let someone else make the decisions for one day and to meet some other travelers along the way. It was wonderful. Martin was our tour guide and he was so nice. Excellent English, very down-to-earth, like the friend you'd want... More

This was the best tour I have ever been on. After walking the Camino to Santiago we were looking for a tour to see Finisterre. The hotel highly recommended DiscoverGalicia because it was a small group. I had no interest in travelling in a big tour bus. This was absolutely amazing. The tour guide explained the history, culture, cuisuine and... More

I have taken many guided tours before. My experience with them has been from bad to mediocre. I specially dislike those that make a stop in a shop where the tour guide gets a cut of the sales. But the tour with DiscoverGalicia by your Way was totally different. Martin picked us up from the hotel at the time we... More

My two friends and I went with Martin and 5 others to Finisterre and the Costa de Morte. We had a wonderful day, Martin was an excellent informative guide. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. We could have used a coffee and bathroom break however. The website does not have an English translation, don't be put off by this, just email... More

We visited the Costa da Morte with Martín. Both the tour and the guide were excellent. We learned so much about Galicia beyond the city of Santiago de Compostela. It's a must excursion if you have an extra day in the area.
