This aquarium is one of the best I have seen. It has amazing indoor exhibits, some interactive, then it has large tanks with many types of fish and at the bottom, there is an underwater outside tank that is amazing and inspired on the Nautilus of Jules Verne fame. Once outdoors, there are gigantic walls that fend off the sea... More

the fish tanks are not many and are very small. Apart from that, the exhibitions are very well organizing and the tank in the lower level is a good surprise.

2 hours guided visit (included in the ticket price, 10€). Their web page does not inform about it (just about 1 morning visit on weekends that must be booked beforehand), so it was a great surprise and very instructive. You can also visit on your own. There's a restaurant on the premises and nice sea view.

I went to the Aquarium Finisterrae in May 2012 with my friend. She doesn't like aquariums, but we agreed that in return for going there, I'd have to put up with her watching the Eurovision Song Contest. Really good aquarium, lots of interesting tanks with fish etc in them. My friend took great delight in pointing at clownfish and shouting... More

Good fish selection. Very interesting way to tell a story of ocean life. Cute seals at feeding time. Good ideea with the " fish theatre". Interesting quiz zone! No english translation and no indication for the tour. Good restaurant and coffee shop. Good suvenirs shop. Clean bathroom. Worth money and time!

Good value attraction - €10. It's set in a spectacular coastal setting. It apparently has the largest salt water tank in Europe - it was impressive, but not quite as spectacular as larger public aquariums elsewhere - Sydney, Cape Town etc. The seals were fun to see. No English translations on any of the exhibits. Lovely restaurant with beautiful views,... More

So a great price when the ship charging a huge amount. We had about 4 hours there including lunch in the finisterrae restaurant. Everybody... More
