Provides some nice information about the local history, though everything is written in Spanish which is very unusual given that all the other historical sites have been translated into a few other languages. It was closed when I went in the afternoon but opened again at 1800. I was surprised that one reviewer recommended spending at least two hours there,... More

Free museum, very well laid out. Gives a terrific overview of the history of Ceuta and the Strait of Gibraltar.

An enjoyable and informative walk around underground crypts and buildings. discovered in the 80's during street works this site had been excavated and then a museum built on top. you can see the remains of several buildings and even skeletons in their graves, coffins and items found at the site can also be seen. All information is displayed in Spanish.
