The park itself isn't that brilliant. PortAventura is a big park with not that many attractions. Meaning there are lots of empty spaces. The rides themselves are not maintained as well as other parks. This is evident on Dragon Khan as compared to similar rides, is very rough. Stampida is simply brutal. Tomahawk is slightly less brutal. El Diablo is... More

I expected something special from a second biggest amusement park in Europe, but it was not that special experiment. Halloween theme was great and there was lot to see and take pictures. Very big area, where 1 day was not enough to see and try everything, so we had to make several compromises. Equipment´s itself were just usual, similar things... More

Port Aventura park has Europe's tallest roller coaster, the Shambhala. Queues can vary depending on rides, and how busy the park is. It is best to go mid week. The food is quite expensive so best to bring your own. Overall amazing experience.

As a whole Port Aventura Park is a fairly disappointing theme park (I am visiting next week again though so I can hopefully change my views). Please bare in mind it was the height of summer when I went (in terms of busyness and the weather was awful, thunderstorms on and off). Tickets aren't too expensive (I'm sorry, I cannot... More

We visited the park last week of October, weather was perfect, but found a number of the rides were closed, which was disappointing. It's a lovely place to walk around, what with the different parts of the world to explore. There were some very good rides and the place was well decorated for Halloween. There weren't any shows or anything... More

As a day out it was good, we went in October but the weather was great for the time of year "just before Halloween". The park itself was fairly quiet which was great as we got round all the big rides we wanted to twice. However the wasn't much else happening, it seemed to us that most of the shows... More

I was here with friends and had a great time. Since we've already been to similar parks we decided to only go for the 'black', most intense rides and it was a great decision since the queues were quite long so we wouldn't have had time to do everything. We did go to check out the submarine odyssey after we... More
