Visited at lunchtime on a hot ( 37c) August day, 2008. A lovely, unspoilt village with narrow streets situated on a bend of the Ebro river, several small bars/cafes serving all manner of food from snacks to Menu del dia, plenty of shade adjacent to the river. Miravet is still unspoilt by mass tourism. Go by car, across the little wooden car ferry that takes you across the river Ebro. Then a very short drive into the old village. Take a walk up through the village, and if you are wearing the right shoes, you can climb up to the Templars castle. Or you can drive up.... more
