It's situated at the end or the beginning of the Passeig Maritim and really attracts attention. Loved looking at the waves while standing on the stairs leading to it. Unfortunately had no chance to get inside.

This church is not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is quite lovely. There were no services being conducted when we were there, which was a pity.

Definitely worth taking a look inside at the magnificent artwork and carvings lining the interior. Very peaceful and tranquil.

Attend a mass if you can and soak up the peace and goodwill of the locals. Take a good walk around the inside of the church afterwards where there are many, many beautiful statues and sculptures. The one of Jesus lying in the tomb is absolutely stunning.

Walking along the beach, you can see the magnificence and beauty of the church nestled atop a small walk of stairs. To the side of the church is a long walk way and a steep wall, that falls down to the beach, and gives you an amazing view of the coastline, and some amazing architecture of the whole church. Inside... More

One of our nieces and her lovely husband and their two beautiful little girls live in Sitges and we have been lucky enough to not only see our two sweet little great nieces christened at Santa Tecla a couple of years ago, but are here again having experienced the most amazing parades, human towers, fireworks, over the past five days.... The church can be seen up on the hill. Worth the climb of the few steps for a gorgeous view of the Sitges beaches. There is a mermaid statue up there for a good picture. Bought a beautiful sketch from a local artist there of the church. It wasn't open when we were there to go inside, so not sure... More

We went to Mass here and the singing was lovely. The congregation was welcoming. The church is the main landmark in Sitges and must be the most photographed.

This is like the symbol of Sitges, it is beautiful, stunning and has a nice view. The streets around are old and small and it is just a pleasure talking a walk around here.

I tried 3 times to visit this church during the week we were in Sitges. The only part you are allowed into is a tiny side chapel with no view into the rest of the church. I thought I had made third time lucky when I found the main door open, only to be turned away by a man who... More
