A wonderful museum! Just renovated. A good place to see piantings by the Luminists and to learn a bit about the artisitic development in Sitges and Catalunya in general from the middle ages. Great views, kind staff. A must do!

We didn't actually go to this museum, we went to a performance of the Opera Al Mirador in the museum, presented during the summer months as part of the Sitgestiu Cultural. Frexienet was one of the sponsors, and the Opera ticket included a glass of champagne, for about $9/person. It seemed like a "win/win" and it was -- the arias... More

Having visited Sitges for years, I have rarely found the museum door open when I have been passing through the old town so when it was this time, I decided to pop in. Stunning Catalan decor inside with a stately room, beautiful views over the ocean, and a cool relaxing ambience to head into away from the heat and bustle... More

The Palau Maricel is about 100 years old, constructed by the American Charles Deering. There is a guided tour at 11 AM in English, then in catalan at noon and spanish at 1 PM. You will see several art pieces in this museum, but the most impressing part is to visit the different rooms. At last, you will be on... More

We took an evening tour with champagne & entertainment that we really enjoyed -the tour was interesting and the place is truly beautiful-to end the tour in the outdoor roof garden overlooking the ocean while sipping champagne and listening to the sounds of a castanet concert was a real treat!

This is a beautiful "castle" on the coast. We reserved an English tour and enjoyed our 45 minutes. The public spaces are all you get to view but they are impressive. We enjoyed the story behind the owner as well.

The Palau was built in the 1910's by a wealthy Americam. It has a beautuful exterior and impressive entrance. The rooms inside are richly decorated. The tour in English is on a Sunday at 11am and well worth getting up early to view it. The tour ends in the enclosed terrace at the top of the house with stunning views... More

We happened to be in Sitges over a holiday that allowed people to enter museums for free. If this was not the case we might not have gone and thank goodness we did, as it was truly beautiful. A great example of Catalan architecture.

The Cau Ferrat and Maricel Museums are a must!! Discover a unique story of Santiago Rusiñol, a modernist painter, Charles Deering, a wealthy American who with the wit of Miquel Utrillo made of this place a unique sensitive experience. The works of art belonging to the modernist and 'noucentista' periods are wonderful. But what you will love most is that... More

Besides an interesting museum; the view from several areas in museum were spectacular. The museum itself had an interesting array of items besides paintings and sculptures. Sets right on the edge of the water on the point. Really enjoyed this museum. We found someone working that spoke a little English too.
