Start saying that the location is perfect, the story about the museum incredible and the collection eclectic as Sitges. You're not going to be in a huge Museum, just walk, relax and immerse a litle from Catalonian art, the art of people like you.

We had the good fortune to be visiting on a day when there was an "open doors" scheme, so got in for free. I might have felt it was a bit small and limited for the entrance charge, but certainly it was an intriguing museum. A number of eclectic paintings from a private collection and several beautiful sculptures - one... More

We were here on a cool October day, so hit this place. Lovely former home of a rich American industrialist, it contained some interesting pieces. And tithe end you get a glass of cava.

Charles Deering, one of the brothers who owned and ran International Harvester, owned this palace 1910 - 1921. He displayed his extensive art collection and wanted to attract artists from all over the world. Then he got into a fight with the artist Utrillo, who had helped with the building. Deering left town and his art collection ended up in... More

Very cheap to visit with a conducted tour. Good English spoken and linked with 2 other Museums - both worth a visit. The Romantic Museum also has evening concerts - fab !!

We went on a guided tour of the museum and it was well worth it. The style is eclectic and the history behind it all is interesting. There are cool courtyards, cloisters, richly decorated rooms and stunning views.

Apparently the whole of the Sitges old town was under redevelopment for the past few years with many of their museum closed to the public. On a not so sunny day, we decided to go exploring. The Museum has some great views of the mediterranean, stunning sculpture pieces... and the interior decoration alone makes it worth a visit!
