I did a cycling week in Girona area, and rented my bike from Bike Breaks. Just a fantastic experience - the people at Bike Breaks are great, they fitted me properly on a nice cannondale, and their Thursday group ride is lots of fun. Plus they're location is ideal in the middle of old town. I definitely will be back.... More

Just happened to pass by BikeBreaks and called in just to check out the store. Dave was extremely friendly and very helpful. He supplied us with a great route, kept our bikes for a few hours while we explored the city, and tightened up a headset free of charge. Cool store, definitely worth a visit.

We have had a fantastic few days cycling in and around Girona. Dave, Saskia and the rest of the friendly team at BikeBreaks Girona Cycle Centre couldn't have been more helpful. The new Cannondale Synapse hire bikes are perfect, helmets & spare bottles were included & a wide range of clothing & accessories were available to buy. We went on... More

I rented out one of the Valk navigation systems from BikeBreaks Girona. The owner explained me how how it worked and uploaded it with some amazing routes. I have been riding for days with the system and everyday i had new routes, avoiding main roads and it took me to backroads i would never had find by myself. After a... More

We planned to ride three days in Girona using our own bikes. Having read such great reviews of Bike Breaks, we stopped in on Monday morning to buy a map with routes. They convinced us the GPS was better, so we rented it for three days. They suggested a tour to the medieval town of Monells, where they said there... More

Anyone who has travelled with a bike to somewhere new knows that local knowledge is invaluable. Especially if you are not fluent in the local language (Catalan). After locating Bike Breaks in the Old City (not as easy at it sounds - not the fault of the shop, more of my ability to navigate in a fortress city!), it was... More

Any experienced cyclist knows when they have arrived in the 'good' bike shop in an unfamiliar city, and this is that one. Our rental of two bikes for a quick smash up the Rocacorba was smooth and slick; the prefilled GPS was a godsend and the service impeccable. Lockers, shower, energy bars, route advice...anything we wanted was dealt with swiftly... More
