I have used them twice and the red bus once. Altho good, I prefer this route this takes There are 3 bus routes - Blue (North of the City, Red (South of the City) and Green (along the beach - only available in Spring/Summer) These are a 1 or 2 day hop on/hop off bus and give you HORRIBLE headphones... Its a bit pricey but is a lot better than visiting the sites by metro and getting on and off tube trains. My problem was that none of the WiFi was working on any of the buses we boarded

While I was at a conference, my wife took the tourist bus from Plaça Espanya to Catalunya then up to the Tibidabo and back to Plaça Espanya. Not a very good ride so not good photos but some interesting facts. Took bus at Tibidabo - rather misty.

I had one day to see Barcelona, and this was probably the best way to do it. You buy the ticket, and bang, you get to see all the key sites the city has to offer. Getting on and off where ever you want PROS - full guide of the city with plug in air phones that talk you through... More

Barcelona Bus Turistic is a good way of getting around the key attractions in Barcelona. They offer both one and two day tickets with the two day ticket being the best value and whilst they may seem pricey up front the journeys are very flexible plus you don't need any other forms of transport whilst using the ticket. There are... More

I can't recommend this highly enough as a means to obtaining a good orientation around Barcelona and to get to the sights. The ticket provides for two different tours around areas of the city. We found it best to buy a 2 day ticket. On day one, we did tour one in the morning, got off for lunch then did... More

This company has three different routes - different colors. We were a larger family group (12 persons) and found combinations and opportunities to see a lot of the 'musts' of Barcelona - and to make walkc, and other breaks - all based on this hop on hop off. Even the beach we reached in this way. Ok - it is... More

I have been on bus tours in quite a few cities, including Madrid, St Petersburg, New York, Liverpool and Berlin and I have always really enjoyed them. This one, however, was a disappointment. Yes, it is a good, but expensive, way to get a sense of the city but the commentary is rubbish. Apart from being pre-recorded instead of live,... More

The buses are new and kind of hokey, but, they are pretty cheap travel around the city and the hop on, hop off feature makes them a fun way to travel the city( wear a coat and gloves in December)

Well if it is the first time you come to Barcelona,...then it is good to take the two days tickets, you can see most of the key areas. However if you decide to do it by yourself....or you have more days, then take advantage of the cheap taxis or even better take the underground
