We bought the two day ticket and spent the first day riding the routes to determine which attractions we wanted to come back to visit. The second day we used the bus to take us to the sights we had selected.

We always try to take the 'bus tour' as soon as we reach a new city as we believe it gives us an overview now which we can then base our explorations over the following days - and this was no exception. There are two routes so we spent our first day driving round the city to get our bearings... More

This is a GREAT & fun way to become familiar with the city & neighborhoods. This open top double decker bus will take you to the outlying tourist stops that could be a hassle to get to on your own. They stick to their schedule & are reliable arriving at the designated stops within 5 minutes of the posted time.... More

Choose this bus if you have limited time in Barcelona, but do not loose your ticket.. The wind blew away all my tickets from the top deck. I have reported it immediately. The staff had quite an apathetic attitude. They kept saying: "you should buy another ticket"- So I bought another 5 tickets for my family. No human courtesy at... More

Great way of seeing the whole city along with an audio guide & info about the city & it's history. A day ticket allows you to jump on & off the bus at every stop & covers the whole city. Very safe & easy to find & follow whether traveling alone, as a group or family & not too expensive.... More

We enjoyed the bus tour at the beginning of the trip. This was a nice way to see the city and figure out the places that we would like to go back and see during our stay. We had great seats on top of the bus. The tour was informative and a nice way to start our tour of Barcelona.

We were only in Barcelona for a short stay & any hop on hop off is so easy to grasp what is around & what to do! We completed both routes before setting out where we wanted to Hop off. The audio guide is very informative & the staff are very helpful & bilingual! Bonus! The blue route stops at... More

I expected in february that buses would go every 35 minutes as is written on official webpage. But we did not wait more than 5 minutes. Sometimes buses were even doubled. Red line is much better if You want to see Barcelona and do not have enough time. Blue line is more for fans of Gaudi but You must have... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
