A way to see Barcelona but hectic in the summer sun and heat. We feel that more than half of the routes can be cut and the traffic delays makes most of the time on the bus a but worthless. The sound was poor ! Very expensive compared to Amsterdam but long routes with many stops. Rather take the tours... More

The title says it all. This overpriced bus tour takes for ever, doesn't really add any value via the audio guide (it's just prerecorded announcements of where you are with huge amounts of bad music between locations), and the bus keeps stopping and waiting for 5-10 minutes are 'transit spots' between the different routes it runs. The earbuds were painfully... More

28 Euros for a day ticket for an adult. It what it is a bus with plastic seats and plugs for earphones...take your own if you want comfort. Trying to tune in is fun with sun on the LCD display! There are no announcements for stops over an tannoy so if your not plugged in you could miss your stop.... More

The service was frequent. We never waited more than 10 mins for a bus. The audio commentary was good but it didn't work from every seat we sat in. It's certainly worth paying for two days since the second day only costs 11 Euros more. The staff were friendly and there were staff at many of the more popular stops... More

Loved the local people who were very helpful guiding you to many points in the city. The ride was comfortable and we were a family of five and it was not that hard to learn the bus routes.

We purchased 2-day tickets online (10% discount) a few days prior to our trip. Printed out the voucher at home and then redeemed it for actual tickets on the bus. It was a very easy procedure. Each ticket came with a map and coupon booklet, which had some useful discounts. The free wifi worked fine and the audio guide was... More

The Bus Turistic is really a great deal, and the ideal way to see all major attractions Barcelona has to offer. My main advice is to decide on a few hop-offs before you take the bus, just so you can somehow estimate your travel time, since it stops running a little early (8pm-ish). Also, if you have the time, take... More

We did the red tour on the blue bus barcelona touristic. Usually I love these tours but I think Barcelona is just too big. We spent 2 hours on the tour and half way through my family was ready to kill me. There was very little commentary and with everything far away from each other basically you are just driving... Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
