For us as first-timers to Barcelona this was truly the best way to obtain an overview of the entire city and make sure you dont miss anything. U can then decide where to visit later to spend more time. Excellent commentary along the way. Do not miss, definitely worth the price even though it is quite expensive. Recommend to go... More

We do HOHO everywhere we go. This was the best service in relation to the the frequency of the buses and the routes provided. We didn't wait more than 5 mins on our two day ticket at any point. It's late service also allowed us to take the bus back home to the hotel when we had finished dinner in... More

This system has three routes, green (beach/coast) blue (north) red (west). Can work out expensive if you dont make full use. Blue has Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell but otherwise less impressive than red. We thought it was great overall.

We used it to get overview of the city and were completely satisfied with it. Buses were clean and audio worked with no problem. Blue loop was a bit overstretched and not as interesting as red.

There are 3 routes offered by Bus Turistic, red, blue and green. I would recommend to go for red first and then blue. Green is not as attractive as it covers the beach area. The total travel time for 3 routes is about 4 hours. It is really a good deal.

The buses are pretty frequent and the beauty of the system is your ability to spend as much time as you want visiting one attraction, then going to the next. I'd recommend riding the whole loop at least once before determining where to stop. Red route is great!

We booked a two-day tour and over that time covered all three routes, some bits more than once. Very blowy on top! Was a good way to get round the major sites; commentary was very informative. Music a bit irritating though.

A hop on hop off bus tour, a great way to see the sights of the city if you are only there for a short while, you can hop on and off at any of the sights, buses are every 5 - 10 minutes so very convenient. Also headphones are provided and the tour is in multiple languages. You can... More

I always make a point of taking a hop on hop off tour of a city - I think it's a good way to get one's bearings and gives you confidence in an unfamiliar setting, so I have been on quite a few. However I have to say that I was a little disappointed by this one, especially having read... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
