It's like a time machine, walk in and you are back to the 1930s. Bartenders are in shirts and bow ties, interior reminds of an old yacht and the clients are a mix of hipsters, businessmen and occasionally some tourists. Good service, good drinks and nice location!

Great little cocktail bar just off la Ramblas. The bartenders all wear tuxedos, and serve some of the best cocktails in Barcelona. Make sure you have a good idea of what cocktails you like as there is no menu, however they will recommend ones based on your alcohol preferences.

im quite fussy about alcohol and only drink Malibu, struggled to find a bar in Barcelona that sold it, then discovered this place, its quite small and does not look like much from outside, but inside is lovely, bar very busy and the staff are lovely, they also dress in tux's which is a nice touch. the measures of alcohol... A tiny bar just off Las Ramblas you could easily think it's shut due to the closed wooden doors and tinted windows. Inside is a beautifully old fashioned bar, no menu so you need to know what you want before heading in. An amaretto sour for me and an old fashioned for my partner. Both made fantastically. Highly recommend this... More

We went here tonight and enjoyed the experience. Classic cocktails served by bar men in bow ties. No menu so it s best if you know what you want. We had the caipirisima, mojito, vodka sour, and the award winning Rossi. All were great! We enjoyed watching the men make drinks. A little pricey but well worth it.

I went to Boadas for my birthday with my friends after reading about it in my lonely planet book. The two main reasons why I really wanted to go was 1.It's the oldest cocktail bar in Barcelona. 2. Ernest Hemingway used to always go there. It is just off the main strip of La Ramblas, it is quite small but... More

Went along early evening when it was very quiet. Just a couple of other people there. Excellent Dark and Stormy, Mojito and Piña Colada although a bit pricey at 28 Euros, but nevertheless an enjoyable experience at this proper cocktail bar which has interesting pictures on the walls of its 80 year history. Bartender was very friendly and gave us... More

We walked half an hour to find this adress, and finally we've reached the bar Boadas : Really nice bar, and authentic ! A bit small, and it's cold inside, there's no table to sit. That's for the esthetic. About the cocktails : I drank one of the best (or the best) mojito of my life ! I recommend it... More

We went here about a year ago, and have only just got round to reviewing. We went when we were the only ones in just at a lunchtime and also on a busy evening. It can get busy! Both times the drinks were first class and the service great. I travel quite a lot and tend to look up well... More

Visited with a group of friends and we all had something different. Barman was really attentive and catered to our different tastes with recommendations. Great pouring and mixing skills on display, felt like a real treat. Mixes are strong and worth every penny. Daily special "Dracula" was delicious, made with cherry brandy. Lovely decor and really interesting mix of customers.... More
