We went there for the last drink before heading back to the hotel and it had definitely been a charming discovery! Very professional waiters, highly skilled and ready to take the challenge of preparing you an awesome cocktail just based on your preference. Menus are not needed in this place, it still look like being back in the '30s when... More

Maybe it just wasn't for me, but I have to disagree with many of the reviews here. I found it to be stuffy and unwelcoming. It was busy at the bar, and has a good location, but just did nothing for me. We ordered two vespers and weren't impressed with the cocktails either. They are have no menu to offer... More

A return to Barcelona, A return to Boadas. The perfect way to kick off an evening before dining at Mantel Canete. My preference is simple, gin martini, perfectly prepared, delivered, consumed and greedily had another, My wife and six of our dearest friends and a perfect hour before a perfect meal. Boadas - you rock!

It's like a time machine, walk in and you are back to the 1930s. Bartenders are in shirts and bow ties, interior reminds of an old yacht and the clients are a mix of hipsters, businessmen and occasionally some tourists. Good service, good drinks and nice location!

Great little cocktail bar just off la Ramblas. The bartenders all wear tuxedos, and serve some of the best cocktails in Barcelona. Make sure you have a good idea of what cocktails you like as there is no menu, however they will recommend ones based on your alcohol preferences.

im quite fussy about alcohol and only drink Malibu, struggled to find a bar in Barcelona that sold it, then discovered this place, its quite small and does not look like much from outside, but inside is lovely, bar very busy and the staff are lovely, they also dress in tux's which is a nice touch. the measures of alcohol... A tiny bar just off Las Ramblas you could easily think it's shut due to the closed wooden doors and tinted windows. Inside is a beautifully old fashioned bar, no menu so you need to know what you want before heading in. An amaretto sour for me and an old fashioned for my partner. Both made fantastically. Highly recommend this... More

We went here tonight and enjoyed the experience. Classic cocktails served by bar men in bow ties. No menu so it s best if you know what you want. We had the caipirisima, mojito, vodka sour, and the award winning Rossi. All were great! We enjoyed watching the men make drinks. A little pricey but well worth it.

I went to Boadas for my birthday with my friends after reading about it in my lonely planet book. The two main reasons why I really wanted to go was 1.It's the oldest cocktail bar in Barcelona. 2. Ernest Hemingway used to always go there. It is just off the main strip of La Ramblas, it is quite small but... More
