The bar staff here were amazing with their knowledge and willingness to engage with patrons about their art and the history of the bar, from hemingways mojito to specialised syrups developed by Bacardi. An amazing time was had and they developed a very special cocktail for my wife on her birthday!

Staff are amazing! Cocktails are even better. There is no menu inside, staff will offer a tailored suggestion depending on what you prefer (dry, tropical, sour, etc) It's a very small but lovely bar, with honestly the best cocktails we have ever had.

After reading the rave reviews we decided to pay a visit. On first entering it looks an interesting small bar with old fashioned ambience. The bar is small and there are only a few stools at the bar and along the walls, there are no tables. Also no bar list – just about 5 or 6 cocktails listed on a... More

Amazing service and cocktails here! They really know what they are doing. Came here for my husbands 30th and had a fantastic night. The staff were very friendly and even made us customised cocktails according to our likes and dislikes. The whole atmosphere in the bar was great and the Art Deco themes make it really unique. It's not that... More

This bar might have been the best we have been to in Barcelona yet!! It was super pricy but the drinks are totally worth it! We didn't order drinks off a menu, instead the waiter chatted to us for a bit and mixes up a unique surprise based on our preferences. The drinks were all outstanding but there was nothing... More

While La Rambla is known as a really touristy area, we were thankful Boadas did not have that feel. It was a pretty small venue and it was definitely crowded (that's how you know it's a good bar!), but it never felt uncomfortable or crammed. The bartenders were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. Awesome atmosphere, great bar with a lot... More

Tucked away in a small street off La Rambla, this cocktail bar transports you back in time with the setting and bartenders who don bow ties as they prepare your cocktails. Drinks mixed to perfection (in front of you if you get a seat at the bar), friendly bartenders made our night in Barcelona! Definitely worth visiting.

This gem is located on sidestreet off of Las Ramblas. . . you walk in and escape the craziness of Las Ramblas and are transported to a bygone era in the 1920s where you can have someone who REALLY knows how to make a cocktail make you a cocktail. Every drink they make is perfectly balanced and you can taste... More

A tiny bar with a lot of history, if you want to feel like a local, or avoid the crowd, go early, 1pm kind of early. Then you get to enjoy the bar and its history and atmosphere without the chaos.

Boadas is a fantastic throwback cocktail bar that transports patrons to another time and place. The bartenders were so great and made quite possibly the tastiest mojito I've ever had in my life (note: my family is Cuban and I'm from Miami. I've tried plenty of mojitos in my lifetime). My boyfriend had a dirty vodka martini which he said... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
