We went here about a year ago, and have only just got round to reviewing. We went when we were the only ones in just at a lunchtime and also on a busy evening. It can get busy! Both times the drinks were first class and the service great. I travel quite a lot and tend to look up well... More

Visited with a group of friends and we all had something different. Barman was really attentive and catered to our different tastes with recommendations. Great pouring and mixing skills on display, felt like a real treat. Mixes are strong and worth every penny. Daily special "Dracula" was delicious, made with cherry brandy. Lovely decor and really interesting mix of customers.... More

I decided to go here after reading the reviews. I really do not understand why this place is considered a great cocktail bar. There is no menu so I expected to be able to order any cocktail and they'd know how to make it - I asked if they could make a flip which is my favourite style and they... More

As cocktail bartenders, we went in search of Boadas, and nearly walked passed it. The windows are tinted, and the front door was closed. I had to double check the opening times online just to make sure it wasn't closed. We made our way in to a small but cosy bar literally just off Las Ramblas and sat at the... More

This is a tiny, old fashioned cocktail bar - no menu, you have to know what to ask for. The tuxedo barmen will make you a (strong!) cocktail of your desire. The bloody mary and mojhitos were brilliant. Search it out, its well worth a visit.

Tiny, old fashioned, cramped, great cocktails, great atmosphere. One small room fitted out in dark wood. The barmen in tuxedos made wonderfully strong and tast cocktails.

First of all it is very easy to walk straight past this bar as we did on several occasions. Its right at the top of La Rambla. If you walk from Placa de Catalunya down La Rambla it's the first street on your right called Carrer dels Tallers. No neon signs or large windows here to entice you in. Boadas... More

I have been coming to Barcelona for 32 years. Boadas is my favourite place for drinks. Tonight we went in before dinner. The mojitos were amazing. As they and all other cocktails have been. But we went in for a digestif. We had 2 Dama Blancas (the cocktail of the day). Delicious. And a non-alcoholic drink for the bird person.... More

this is one of the best cocktail bars i have been to in a long time, and i try and go everytime i am in Barcelona. It's small, and significantly improved since the smoking ban came in to effect. Be prepared to stand, but it is woth it.
