Interesting little bar

A lovely old fashioned cocktail bar, with lots of old pictures and photographs taken over the years.

This very small establishment is down a backstreet off La Rambla. It's a small triangle-shaped room: no tables, just high stools around the walls and at the bar. It's a proper cocktail bar - that is, cocktails only! Be adventurous and order whatever is the cocktail of the day. You won't be disappointed. The bar staff are excellent and experts... More

Went here after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. The staff were surly and while there is no menu unless you are an expert on cocktails they didn't help at all. Two of us went for the Cocktails of the day. The Cava cocktail was very strong and bitter so not to our taste. The same for the Mojito - too... More

Whilst walking up the La Rambla and nearing the top end, someone mentioned do you fancy a 'margareta' so we walked over to Boadas Cocktail bar, when you enter this small cocktail bar it's in the shape of a triangle, with bar counters a stoles down both sides and across the main bar, smartly dresses waiters making various cocktails, always a... Came here after a friend recommended it, and I must say we were not disappointed. The bartenders are fantastic! I cannot praise them enough. There were no menus, they just asked us what we liked and made cocktails accordingly. It was a great way to try something different and broaden my tastes. We spent a good 4 hours here, it... More

I hate rating this on here, as it is not a touristy place and it would be nice for it to stay so. This was very small, but we went three different nights on our stay and each time had the best night of relaxing and meeting other patrons.

Very professional bartenders. Fast and impressive skills. Unique atmosphere.Reasonable prices. Very nice decoration. Such a little gem. I found it on a list of the best recommended bars in Barcelona. From outside it doesn't look like much, and I was skeptical before entering. However, once I entered the bar, I realized that it's a bar that has its own audience,... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
